???: The place was still in good shape. Spectral servants were bound to the mansion to clean it while their master was away. Cole looked down darkly holding his necklace again. "This is the place." he told her calmly. She stared at him long and hard. "What's wrong...?" she asked concerned. He simply just shook his head and replied, "Nothing." he walked on quickly giving her a tour. Such an amazing place; 16 rooms, a huge living room, large dining room, beautiful kitchen with tons of shelves, and all hidden in a large forest only revealing a huge land that had been secret for so long. He showed her a few extra rooms for relaxing alone, studying, playing, and for swimming and exercising. Their tour was long and for each thing that she showed her the more curious she got. "What's in there?" she asked looking at a black door with red symbols drawn on it. It had hawk feathers hanging from dark beads and strings. Cole's hair covered his eyes. "My room..." he replied darkly after a while. "That's weird...this seems to be in the west wing; away from all of the other's room...even your father's." she said curiously. He had no choice since they were there. He opened his door to reveal nothing but a grey stone walled room. There were chains that hung from the ceiling and wall. She saw dried blood all over the floor and on the wall that faced the door. She stared quietly into the room, shocked that it looked like this. There was no ventilation and no light what so ever; just a cold dark room. "Cole..." she started to say. He took her in his arms and hugged her from behind. "Don't be afraid...don't worry." he told her to comfort her. She stared at the room bitterly thinking about what could have happened to the small boy she grew up with. "Flint..." he said at last. "The darkness of my past was never meant to be revealed...but I feel as if it's in my place to tell someone." he paused for a bit as if hesitating. "Someone...like you." She blushed at his very words and turned around to face him. Still in his arms he stared at her blankly. She looked worridly at her dark mysterious friend. "What happened to you? You were such a quiet calm kid. What is this?" she started to ask. Cole cut her off. "Flint, come with me; I'll tell you everything." he started off towards the stairs and down to the main room. From there he went to the library. He sat down and lit some candles, pulling books off the shelves, lighting everything but not turning on the lights. He shuffled through the books and laid them all on the table. He went to the drawers bringing out old files. "Look at these first." he told her. With only a quick glance she gasped and stared in awe.
