???: She stared curiously at him. He looked calmly back at her. "It's not a date." Cole teased expressionless. Flint shivered "I never said anything about that." she started. Interrupting her he simply replied, "You don't have to, your eyes says it all." He gazed at her with his casual dark expression. "Shall we?" he asked. Without an answer he started walking. Flint ran to catch up. Quickening her pace to stay with him she asked, "So where we going?" He just looked down putting his hands in his pockets and speeding up. Sighing, she caught up once more. Flint took the hint that a walk is a walk and whatever her dark friend had in store for her was a secret best kept hidden until ready to be shown. For what seemed like hours they walked. Flint was noticing a slight pattern, as if they were going in circles. She even wondered if Cole himself even knew where he was going or if he just wanted to annoy her. He stopped in front of the forest that hid the mansion. Confused, Flint touched his shoulder to ask him what they were doing there. In an instant he took off deep into the forest. Flint's patience ran thin and before she knew it she charged off after him. All she could hear was his footsteps, which suddenly turned to sounds on the trees and voices in the air. Breathelessly she followed all of the sounds. Her body became tired and numb. Finally she couldn't take it, she stopped to catch her breath. A chill ran down her back as it was touched in a eerily gentle way. "Cole!" she turned around yelling. He took a step back. "Calm down. Look behind you." he retorted. She did so and was completely shocked. It was a moonlit lake with a waterfall flowing into it. Leaves fell into the water as soft as feathers. Amazed, she took a step forward.
