Don't look... -fails-
???: Flint didn't know what just happened, but she found herself laying in an uncomfortable bed in a dark room. She got up and looked around. How did I get here? When did I get here? Wait....I don't even know where I am! The room glistened slightly with moonlight as she heard curtains move. In the dim light, Cole stood, leaning against the door. "And she awakes." he said slightly annoyed. He stared into her eyes and walked in. "Thanks for that, but I'm pretty sure you don't know what you did." For a second Flint was very confused. "Cole..." she started to speak. His eyes glinted violently in the moonlight as he stared. "Definitely not." He answered to himself. Flint looked down, she felt depressed and scared. "What did I do?" He sat next to her at the edge of the bed, took her hand and put it on his chest. She felt something cold and wet. Quickly she pulled her hand away and stared speechless at the blood that covered her. "What did I DO?!" Cole hushed her and looked at her calmly. "Shh..." She stopped and looked away. After a slight silence, Cole began to speak once more, softly...calmly. "Well, tell me what you do remember..." She didn't hear it at first but he sounded a little weak. "Cole, are you okay?" she asked curiously. "Answer the question." Cole replied calmly. "...I...I came into the mansion..." her head started hurting. "Then, I heard things...then I felt pain...then nothing." "Hmm..." "What, Cole?" "What do you feel when I do this..." He grabbed something under the blanket and tugged it gently. Flint jumped. "Whoa!" she exclaimed. "What the?!" Immediately she pulled the blanket off to notice a sleek black tail being held in Cole's hand. Scared, she couldn't speak. What is this? Cole dropped her tail and lowered his head. There was silence...and then, Cole started laughing quietly to himself. His laugh got louder and he threw his head back. A chill ran down Flint's spine. "What's so funny?!" she retorted. His laughing stopped abruptly as if he'd just came to his senses and looked back at her. "Nothing...that you should be concerned of. In due time you'll see yourself..." Flint felt a little more annoyed now. "STOP DOING THAT!" she yelled. His eyes glistened once more and he stared at her. "Stop doing what?" Blood rushed through her veins. "You must think you're soooo cool! Cole, you're just stupid! You shouldn't have left school, you shouldn't have ran away! You should have JUST stayed and lived a normal life!" She practically exploded. "Do you really think you're so great?! Ohh! Look at me! I'm so cool cause I dropped out and am emotionally scarred! I think I know everything!" Cole looked away and lowered his head. Flint was becoming extremely frustrated. "No, don't feel guilty! Feel loved! What else do you want me to do for you?" He stopped her. "Enough" She stared, feeling a singe of pain and disappointment. "What is wrong with you Flint? Where did that all come from?" His eyes showed no emotion, he showed no emotion. It looked as if...he would disappear. Where DID that come from? Flint found herself repeating his question. "I'm...I'm sorry..." She got up and hugged him. He didn't move. His body felt so cold and he himself was ghost pale. "Cole? Are you okay?" He pushed her off and quickly stood. "No, I'm not." he replied. His whole body shook. "Well, what's wrong then?" she asked. "Not now...not now...I have to go..." with that, he spread his wings and flew out the window. "Cole!" Worried, she ran to the window and looked frantically around. The clouds were heavily coated in black. That...That cloud...It looks strangely like...She couldn't deny what her eyes were seeing. The storm clouds looked like a crying dragon. She heard a loud sorrowful roar. Her eyes went dim and she walked back to the bed. I'm so sorry. It was there, that she noticed it. His locket laid on the table next to the bed, torn chain and scratched metal. What...? It all came back...the mansion, the girl, the pain.
Cole rushed into the mansion and held her asking if she was okay. Her eyes glowed pure red and she pulled away. The silver locket shined brilliantly as he stared at her alert and confused. She aimed straight for the locket, sharp black claws piercing his skin to grab it. He winced in pain, throwing her off. His skin turned jet black, his muscles pulsed, he grew larger, his yellow eyes glowing violently. Sharp fangs glistened in the light. He looked like a complete shadow. A shadow of a beast. He came towards her but she aimed for the locket this time making sure to slash it off right when he had a good hit to knock her out. His eyes stared scared at the silver bloodstained locket. Scared and deeply depressed.
Right there, Flint took the silver bloodstained locket into her hands. She knew what she did. She started to cry. After all you've done...and I hurt you. Where did that come from? Why did my stupid self have to say those things?! That wasn't even me...I don't feel that way. Why? Flint couldn't stop crying, she held the locket close and soon cried herself to sleep.
