• His purple eyes gleamed sadistically as he passed through the now very empty city. His boots crunched over metal, bones and blood. Shadows seemed to flow all around him, making it seem as if he was gliding on them. They twisted and twirled, and retracted moving as if spoemone was pressing play then rewind. None of this bothered him for he was the cause of all it. The once bustling city now stood deserted from the power of one man. Most of the women and children had been evacuate, but the men foolishly choose to fight against him.
He scoffed at the memory of them trying to fight. It was pitiful really.
They had tried to shoot him, but the bullets rusted and crumbled as did their useless guns.
The men grew old and turned to dust just like their weapons.
Whole tanks were now just rusted shells. The watch atop his head rung and he chuckled. He waved his hand and the city moved backwards.
The bombs they set retracted it’s carnage bring pieces of wall together instead of tearing it apart. Blood returned to bodies and the humans grew young and moved in backward motion.
    He had reset time.
This whole battle was just a test after all. A test for the humans.
Could they really standup to someone like him? Could they challenge what they truly fear?
Till then, they will forget about this battle and in another 100 years he will return and try it all over at the next super power’s capital.
For now, the America’s Washington D.C shall remain standing and whole.
Noone stood a chance against Silar, Time’s handyman.
