Hello again everyone! And welcome to another gunpla review. smile Today I will be reviewing the HG 00 Gundam 1/144 from the second season of the series Gundam 00. This is the shows 10th anniversary, so I wanted to review one of the most iconic MS from the series. As a whole, the 00 gundam as gone through several changes throughout the series. From the Exia, to the 00, to the 00 raiser, and from the OVA the 00 Quanta. (now that is a lot of different versions of this guy!) All of them look great and are excellent model kits for anyone, either a beginner who wants to start right away, to the veteran builder. So let's jump right in and see what there is. wink
For starters, you'll notice that he has 2 bulky GN drives on his shoulder, that makes him look like a linebacker. >.< I think they give him personality, and with the 00 raiser attached to him, which you can also buy and put on him to make the 00 raiser, adds to this kits fantastic design. For articulation, he is great! He can pose in any position that you want, and is very sturdy, so don't worry about pushing this guy to his limit. He only comes with a set of closed hands for holding his weapons, but that's okay because he really only needs them. smile For his weapons, he comes with his two swords, that also transform into guns for him, so he can either slash you up close, or blast you from afar. -thumbs up-
I can't really say anything negative about this kit. I had a lot of fun building him and he looks amazing! He was worth the price and was easy, and looks great on the shelf or wherever you place him. It's plain to see why he is popular among the gundam franchise. He looks great and has fantastic articulation. The series was a joyride to watch, both seasons and the OVA, and you should give him a try if you haven't yet. smile Below are the pictures that I took of him, enjoy! smile
