Hello again everyone to another gunpla review! It's been awhile since my last kit review, so I decided to return with this beauty: The MG Shenlong Gundam from the series Mobile Suit Gundam Wing! As you know, I have 4 of these guys already, and I'm planning on getting MG Sandrock soon so I can complete the set. This was such a fun and easy MG build for me. I think next to Heavyarms, and Wing Gundam, this was a cakewalk! -Thumbs up- I'm not going to go into much detail about the series because I think by now, you know what Gundam Wing is, and how much of an impact it made on the U.S. Market. So without any further ado, lets dive in and take a look at this great kit! For starters, this is the TV Version, so its more simple and is the first Gundam that Wufei piloted. I love the design of this kit because of how simple and great he looks. The colors are in standard gundam colors, with white, blue, yellow and red. The head on this kit looks so nice! I mean the design is amazing and it really stands out, and no I'm not being sarcastic, I do really like the head. XD He comes with interchangeable hands, and for the most part, he has no problem holding his weapon, its not too bulky to wear it will fall off XD His torso and legs and arms are more slim, adding to that fast and posable look. He comes with a few weapons, and I love the trident he has! Or spear, whatever you choose to call it XD The beam effect part is really great and can make for some interesting poses with the weapon! Next is the shield, which is great and simple, if you remember, Wufei never really used a shield often, so you don't even have to have it on him if you choose not to, but I did for some of the pictures. And last but not least, the main event, the dragon head! First things first, this is heavy for this kit! 0.0 It comes with a connector to put it on the arm, but sometimes the arm can have a hard time holding it, but if you position it just right, you shouldn't have any problems. The fangs and head are posable and do open up to reveal the mouth, that would then shoot out fire if they had an effect part. XD I love the articulation on the head, and the fact that they let you do so much with it, moving the mouth, jaws and teeth around, and the sticker for the eyes, looks great! You can choose to paint that, but I just left it as is, because I thought the sticker for the dragons head looked fine. All and all, this was a fun and relaxing build! If your new to the hobby, and are just getting into MG's, and you love Gundam Wing, please do yourself a favor and pick this guy up, you won't regret it! I can't wait to get the last one in the series to complete the band, and as always below are the pictures I took of him, enjoy! smile
