Hello again Gaians to another gunpla review! Today I'm going to be reviewing the Hg Helmwige Reincar (not even going to try and pronounce that! wink ) from the series Mobile Suite Gundam: Iron-blooded orphans. You guys know how much I love the iron-blooded orphans series, so I had to pick this guy up! This is from the second half of the series, when both sides were joining forces, and as soon as I saw this MS I was floored! smile I love the design, the whole bull look and his sword looks awesome! So without any further ado, let's dive in and see what we've got!
To start, the color scheme is really nice. I love the off green and blue and black, it really gives him character. His feet are like hooves, which gives the impression of a bull, if the horns weren't obvious enough! XD You can move the horns up and down and move his hooves, which have a different set that is more wide open, which I liked since he is a big guy! He only comes with his one set of hands, but that's fine, he doesn't need multiple ones. If you wanted to get more, you could always pick up a different set of MS hands for him. His weapon is this GIANT b*****d SWORD!!!! 0.0 0.0 I would hate to be on the receiving end of that! Ouch! And the sword can detach into a smaller sword and mace, which I thought was really cool, so he can club you and slash you all at once. The middle chest piece comes off and you can put it on his face to give him a mask, and I actually really liked the mask, it looks really awesome, especially with him holding that sword. wink
To sum it all up, I loved this kit and had no problems with him. Sometimes it can be hard for him to hold the sword, but then again, if you had to hold that, wouldn't it be hard for you? XD This line of HGs were really great and I think as a whole, the iron-blooded orphans line is something that you should at least try, they are all very sturdy, and they all have very unique designs that make them look great! I would highly recommend you pick this guy up! Below are the pictures I took of him, enjoy! smile
