Hello again everyone to another gunpla review! Today I'm going to be reviewing the HGBD Galbaldy Rebake from the series Gundam Build Divers. I know that this series is more geared towards kids to get into gunpla, which I think is fantastic and a great way for kids to want to build model kits and continue the legacy that is Gundam. This is more of a kid friendly show, but I still loved it and the other build fighters and build fighters try series. This MS is piloted by Koichi Nanase, which if you don't know who that might be, he was a former champion builder that ended up getting back into gunpla, and I really liked his character in the series, plus it didn't help that is MS was super cool! -thumbs up- SO without any further ado, lets dive in and see what we've got here! wink
As you can see, this is a big kit! 0.0 So he stands a bit taller than most. And for a big guy, hes actually quite articulated. Those big feet and thighs don't get in the way at all of him posing! Now the thing about this kit, is not only can you make the Galbaldy Rebake, but you can also make the Galbaldy from Zeta Gundam! I thought that was really cool that they give you the parts to make that if you wanted to make your own version of the Galbaldy. I absolutely love the accessories that he comes with! wink For starters, he comes with his HUGE hammer pliers! I was really taken aback at how large and menacing they look. Its basically a giant hammer that can be used like the scissors from the Rebake from Iron blooded orphans, so it was a nice little combination weapon. -thumbs up- A knuckle guard, which looks really cool, definitely can punch out someone's lights with this. 0.0 His shield, which is a little smaller than the normal shield, but it still looks great. And last but certainly, certainly not least, his big old BAZOOKA! 0.0 -runs away- Just like the hammer, this weapon is HUGE, and it works like this; you are given a piece for the bazooka and you attach it to his backpack, and flip it up, and there is his big bazooka, ready to ruin someones day. 0.0 They only give you a set of holding hands, but you get an extra pair to make the Galbaldy, so its like getting extra hands for nothing! I love the head design of this guy! The mono eye, which is a sticker, and his unicorn style antenna, is really awesome looking, and makes him look different from your average MS.
I grew to really like Gundam Build Divers, and the MS in there were very unique and it was such a fun show to watch. If your a fan of different and cool looking MS, I would highly highly recommend you pick this guy up! I thought he was really cool looking and awesome kit and it was fun to build.
