Hello once again everyone and welcome to another Gundam model review! Continuing my own line of HGIBO kits, I will be reviewing the HGIBO Gundam Kimaris 1/144. In my own opinion, this is one of my favorite MS designs! When it comes to knight or heroic MS, I'm a sucker for them, so this one was literally right up my alley! -Thumbs up- This is the archenemy MS of the Barbatos. I love the color scheme he has, the off white, with purple for the chest, and the feet and on his main weapon, he looks great! He comes in another form that is shown later in the series, which is the Kimaris Trooper. The trooper has the same color scheme, but a different design and has a transformable mode that makes his lower torso and bottom transform into a horse, and I plan on picking up and building him one day, but for now, I will be reviewing the first MS.
As far as articulation goes, this guy moves as great as many IBO kits, his shoulders and legs are bulky, so he might not be able to pull off that incredible bend, but he is very sturdy, so that more than makes up for a kung fu pose. wink His hands are the standard HGIBO hands, so they give you a set, which is fine, he doesn't have a problem holding his weapons, especially that giant lance! 0.0 His first weapon is a so called "Knife" which looks more like a short short, maybe that's just me being hopeful. >.< His second weapon is his main weapon, a giant lance that he uses to pierce through his enemies! I really love the color scheme and the design of it and I love that he doesn't have a problem holding it at all. He doesn't come with any beam sabers or guns, but he doesn't need them with that lance. One of the things I love about the IBO line, is that most of them come with actual weapons. We always have beam sabers and such, but I love that they changed it up and introduced blunt weapons and weapons that you normally wouldn't see in a gundam anime.
Once again, if you haven't seen the series, please I recommend you picking it up and giving it a try. I really enjoyed this kit, and I loved the knight look that he has smile Below are the pictures I took of him, Enjoy!
