Hello again everyone! The next review that I'm going to be doing will be on the HG 1/144 Gundam Age 1. Let me start by saying that I absolutely love this model and how posable it really is! For a HG, this kit sets the bar for just how great and articulated kits nowadays can be. smile
When I was getting back into Gundam and building kits, Age was the first show that I started watching, next to Gundam Wing. This series gets a lot of backlash for being a "baby" gundam show, but to me, It was just as dark and depressing as any other series, just in other ways. The show is split up between 3 arcs, all have to do with the main protaganist Flit, his son and his grandson. Without giving you any spoilers, if you haven't watched the series I suggest that you go and watch it, you won't regret it. >.<
Now for the kit itself, let's start by how posable and articulated this guy is! Any pose you want to pull off, this guy can do it! Since he is the first MS from the series, he may appear "plain" but he has three variations of him. The Titus and the Sparrow, both are the same but with some changes to the arms, feet and the weapons are different too. His weapons are his shield that looks great with the giant blue A on it wink and his rifle that you can turn into an SMG. He will also have four clear pink beam blades, two short and two long, so you can pull off some great looking poses, such as the ones you'll see I took below. Overall, I loved this guy and if you haven't seen the show or bought this kit yet, I would highly recommend that you pick up both! Here are the photos that I took of him, Enjoy! smile
