• Once upon a time, there was a young prince who had fallen in love with a simple young village girl. She had beautiful golden blond hair, and beautiful blue eyes. The prince would watch her atop his balcony. She would sometimes try to steal food from the more richer stands in the village and be taken to the castle if caught. She would be thrown into the dungeon and wait for her death, but the Prince would ask permission to go down there to see her, he would free her and lie to the guards that he was taking her to the execution grounds. He gives her a sack of food and she runs off. Now the guards were too stupid to even realize it's the same girl all the time. One day when she had gotten caught and released the Prince decided he would walk her home. He said to the girl, "You know I've watched you from atop my balcony for some time here and I think your really cute." he blushed.
She blushed and said, "I've seen you atop your balcony and I think your really cute also." she smiles.
    "Really?" he asks.
"Mhm." she said with a grin.
So from that day forward they secretly saw each other everyday until one sad day the Princes father, the King, dies. They buried their king beside his beloved Queen. The Prince took over the castle out of tradition but needed a Queen in order to actually BE a King.
He went to the village girls house and found it was empty. An older lady walks up to the Prince, "Excuse me Sir Prince but are you looking for the beautiful young lady who use to live here?" she asked frowning.
"Why, yes I am. I plan to marry her and she shall become my Queen." he says holding his head high.
The older lady begins crying, "I....I'm sorry Sir Prince but she died a week ago."
"I must have heard you wrong Miss."
She shakes her head, "She always hid her sickness, not even her own family knew she was sick until she told them."
The prince breaks down crying, "Where is she buried." he chokes out.
"Follow me young one." she walks off. He follows and they soon come to the castles courtyard. Outside it's walls was a grave stone it read, "Here lies Lily S. River Born 3/4/1681 Died 12/21/1704."
The Prince fell to his knees and cried. "I'm sorry Prince she was wanting to see you before she died but they would not allow her into the castles walls, so her last dying wish was to be buried outside the castles courtyard in front of your balcony."
A week later the Prince killed himself and was buried next to her. The castle was abandoned and only the old lady came to see her daughter and The Prince.
