• Ok....this is a small portion of a story....actually more of a prologe and a journal entry from a soldier in the Spartan Army under Kratos's rule.

    Prologe

It has been many moons ago since Lord Kratos had set out his plan to take out his revenge against the Gods. Some of the Gods were getting angry at Kratos's wrath upon the tiny humans that worshipped the very ground the Gods walked on. Rumors were going around that the highest of the Gods, Zeus, was going to have to step in soon before Kratos could become too powerful.....perhaps even more powerful than Zeus himself.

The Time of Attack (Kratos's point of view)

As he sit upon his throne in Olympus, Kratos sit there in silence, pondering what he should do next. "..............." Kratos would sit there days at a time in silence, watching the Gods argue over who was worshipped more...growing more annoyed and aggitated as each God would demonstrate their power to prove that one was more worshipped than the other. Finally, Kratos had reached his breaking point. He gathered an army at which he called "Spartans." In time he devised a plan to rule all under an iron fist and destroy the petty Gods for they were no better than their human pawns. Eventually Kratos finally set out his Spartan Army. They were to attack the Imperial City. This is where Kratos's journey would truely begin.

Shortly after arriving to the mortal world, Kratos appeared as any God would....huge and unleashing his wrath upon everything and anything. One of the Gods on Olympus knew of Kratos's plan and had warned Zeus. The God managed to set out a spirit eagle that flew over Kratos, taking some of his Godly powers away. The spirit eagle, however, could not handle holding so much power so it sent the power into a collasul statue, turning it into a living being. The God that had sent the eagle commanded it to fight the Spartan Army and kill Kratos. Kratos, still having some Godly powers, fought the enraged giant with all his might. Slashing at it's face, attckaing it's hands, blinding it, knocking off one hand....trying just about anything he could to kill the Stone God. However Zeus contacted Kratos and told him he could not beat the Stone God without using the Blade of Olympus, the most powerful blade in the universe. Kratos questioned why Zeus, of all Gods, would help him. It was strange, but he took the help none-the-less. To get the blade and be able to use it, Kratos had to pay a price. He had to drain the rest of his Godly power into the blade and become mortal. Kratos did so and killed the Stone Giant with the Blade of Olympus easily, however, as Kratos stood there and mocked the Gods, he was crushed by the Stone Giant's falling hand. Nearly dead, Kratos got up and tried to get to the Blade of Olympus as his Spartan Army watched in shock. The blade was so far away, and just as Kratos neared it, Zeus came down and grabbed it. He said Kratos was now mortal and that he was to either serve him...or die. Kratos, refused and mocked Zeus as he tried to beat Zeus with the little strength he had left. Kratos, however, was no match for a God. Zeus, slowly overpowering Kratos, took the Blade of Olympus and stabbed Kratos. Laying there dieing, Kratos continued to mock Zeus and the other Gods to his last breath. As Kratos finally died, Hades came and took his prize to the underworld, leaving behind the Spartan Army to feel the wrath of Zeus.

None of us could believe the God of War could really fall. As soon as Hades left with the body of our fallen God, Zeus only stared at us and said "Kratos your army shall suffer for your ignorance!" Unleashing a power none of us could ever imagine possible, about half of us were whiped out. The Gods are harsh on us Spartans. Kratos was the only God that saw us for what we really were: Warriors. Most people here now are hoping for the Gods' rule to end. Whether its by the hands of the Titans or the hands of man, we want them gone.

Zeus has gone mad with power. He has done something no other God has done before. He must be stopped. He has made a God, Promethius, a mortal and sentanced him to be torchered for all eternaity for helping us humans. He brought us fire, something no God would ever dare do. Zeus has also gotten an army of beasts to help his rule on Earth. The people live in fear, fear of losing loved ones, homes, friends, possesions, and their own lives. Where are you Kratos? We need you Kratos. The humans need you, no....the World needs you!

This was mostly baised off of God of War 2's storyline. the stone giant god thing kratos fought was in the game, kratos dieing by zeus's hand was in the game....but I'm not telling you the rest of what happened smile
