• The sky had become dark in what felt like a matter of minutes.
Aoi Shizuya found herself sat on an old wooden bench, occupied in her own thoughts.
She looked up at a shrine of ferny bushes, visible in the moons pitiful light.
Sighing, she shook her head and laughed a little.
"You can stop hiding, I know you're there." she said casually.
The bushes began to rustle and move about, revealing a boy no older then herself.
The boy sat next to her without a word or even looking at her, and looked back on the ferny bush he once hid in.
    "Evening Naruto." Aoi smiled.
Naruto grunted in reply and folded his arms, his eyes still fixated on the bush.
"Care to tell me why you were following me?" Aoi asked.
Naruto turned his head and looked at her.
"I wasn't following you," he said bluntly.
Aoi looked at him with a unamused face, causing Naruto to slip a smirk.
"Fine I was following you. I got bored. Is it wrong of me to want to see an old friend?" he said.
Naruto and Aoi had been friends for as long as they could remember.
He would always bring the best out in her, and she felt she could be her full self around him all the time.
They sat in silence, Aoi in her own thoughts, Naruto squirming and itching with bordem.
"You're thinking of him again arent you." he stated.
Aoi's head snapped around and she faced Naruto, blushing a violent red.
"That's an obvious yes!" Naruto laughed, but then his face dropped.
"I really don't know what all you girls see in that jerk."
    "Neither do I." she admitted.
    Sasuke Uchiha.
Arrogant. Self centered. Obsessive. Uncaring. Obnoxious.
But some how, so damn admirable.
Aoi could feel herself still burning scarlet.
"Just talk to him and get it over with already," Naruto said. "You're not going to get anywhere if you don't even talk to the guy!"
"Oh who made you Cupid all a sudden?" Aoi smirked.
"Well I am quite the expert at match making." Naruto grinned.
"Oh yeah cause I see you all the time being swarmmed with women." she scoffed.
"Believe it." Naruto winked. Aoi and Naruto both laughed.
"And now you're acting like such a loser." Aoi smirked, shaking her head.
"And now you're starting to sound like Sasuke." Naruto retorted.
Aoi laughed and began to blush again.
"Okay seriously if you don't talk to him, i'm going to do it for you!" Naruto said.
"He won't even care if I talk to him. I bet he thinks i'm too much like you anyway." Aoi stated.
"Well you know what they say...opposites attract, believe it!" Naruto grinned stupidly.
Aoi laughed and shook her head once again.
"You idiot," she said, standing up and looking at a bush that stood behind the bench, which was rustling in a peculiar way, giving her the impression her and Naruto were no longer alone.
"I think i'm gunna head home," Naruto said, standing up and stretching.
"Same." Aoi nodded, walking beside Naruto and making her way home.

    From Sasuke's P.O.V

Sasuke dived under a bush, grabbing the kunai he just dropped.
He took it from the ground and began to stand up.
When he was fully up right he caught glimpse of a girl.
Long brown hair, simple pretty face.
'What is Aoi doing on her own?' he asked himself. As he watched her sit on her own.
He crouched back down and hid in the bush where he stood. Watching eagerly.
"You can stop hiding, I know you're there." Aoi spoke.
Sasuke froze, how did she know he was there?
He was pretty sure he didn't make any noise.
    "Evening Naruto," Aoi then spoke.
    Sasuke sighed quietly with relief.
He sat there watching the two friends talk.
'Why am I watching these losers...what do I care what they're doing?' Sasuke thought to himself.
He went to stand up but something sat him back down.
"You're thinking of him again aren't you?" Naruto said.
    'Thinking of who?' Sasuke thought.
Sasuke heard Naruto begin to laugh.
Sasuke's eyes fell on the back of Aoi.
He didn't really talk or know much about her. However he did know she was the exact double of Naruto.
    Loud. Ignorant. Hyperactive.
However Sasuke couldn't help but notice she had a lot more to like then Naruto did.
"Okay seriously if you don't talk to him, i'm going to do it for you!" Naruto said, bringing Sasuke back round to the conversation.
'Who are they on about?' Sasuke continued to question.
"Well you know what they say...opposites attract, belive it!" Naruto grinned.
    Sasuke scoffed.
    "Loser..." he muttered.
Sasuke saw the two friends stand up and began to walk away from him and the bench.
He stood up slowly and watched their bodys evaporate into the darkness.
"Well I can happily say I've found something out today..." Sasuke said to himself as he walked away from the bush.
"That I'm feeling so damn confused."

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next morning Aoi made her way to Naruto's, walking along the pebbled streets. Each footstep she made echoing a thousand times louder in the back of her mind.
She reached a plain white door and knocked on it twice.
    No answer.
"Naruto," Aoi called, knocking on the door again.
"He's not in." a voice said from behind her.
She spun around and found herself turn red.
"He left about five minutes ago...it looked as if he went into town.
    "Oh.." Aoi said shyly.
Sasuke looked at her and narrowed his eyes.
    'Is she blushing? he thought.
"Um, thanks. I better go find him." she said, looking down at the floor and walking by.
"Want me to come with you?" Sasuke asked.
    Aoi froze and stood still.
    Silence falling around her.
"Um, if you want?" she said.
She turned around and Sasuke smirked.
"If you don't mind that is?" he asked.
"No, I don't mind." Aoi said shyly.
Sasuke smirked and walked next to Aoi.
"Let's go then." he said, the two of them walking off side by side.
As the two walked, Aoi couldn't help blush and feel awkward.
The two were walking in complete silence, which made Aoi feel nervous.
She seemed to find the silence uncomfterable, but he didn't seem to care.
He walked with his famous emotionless face, Aoi walked slightly behind him and studied his face.
Sasuke turned and saw her looking at him, causing her to obviously and quickly look away blushing.
"So urm, Aoi. What were you going to do with Naruto?" Sasuke asked.
"Just go to the training grounds, train a bit. Grab so ramen." Aoi said.
    Sasuke nodded.
"Well do you want to see if Naruto's already there?" he asked.
"Okay then," Aoi said, following Sasuke to the training grounds.
After walking a few minutes behind him, Aoi began to realise Sasuke was walking a completely different way to the training grounds.
"Um, Sasuke." Aoi said. "Are you sure this is the righ-"
Sasuke grabbed Aoi's arms and pulled her into an alley way, pinning her up against a stone wall.
    "Sasuke what are you doi-"
"Shut up and don't speak." Sasuke said bluntly.
Aoi froze as Sasuke's body pressed against hers. She could feel his warm breath on her face.
His eyes burried into hers and they once again stood in silence.
Aoi's stomach turned as she felt Sasuke's lips press against hers.
He softly kissed her and ran a hand through her hair, making her feel weak at the knees.
Sasuke pulled away and looked at her, grinning slightly at the side of her mouth.
    "Sasuke what are you doing-"
"Aoi quiet. I need to say something and I don't want you interuptting me." Sasuke said.
    Aoi nodded.
"Look I've recently been finding it hard to stop thinking of you. I heard you and Naruto talking last night and well it got me thinking...I heard you on about you liking someone and well, I guess you could say I began to feel..." Sasuke stopped and swallowed, "Jealous..."
    "Sasuke-"
"Wait." He interuptted. "I no you probably like some other guy...but I just want to express myself. I'm feeling slightly mixed up but...well I think I can honestly say I like you Aoi."
    "Sasuke-"
    "Listen-"
"No you listen." Aoi interuptted. "Sasuke...the person me and Naruto were talking about last night...was you."
Sasuke's face turned from confused to a smile.
    "Me?" he said.
    Aoi nodded and smiled.
Sasuke looked up at Aoi and leaned in, kissing her softly.
Aoi wrapped her arms around Sasuke's neck and deepend the kiss.
One of Sasuke's hand ran up the side of her top, running up her skin.
Sasuke's tounge ran along the bottem of her lip. Granting entrance she let his tounge play with hers.
She pulled away and looked at him.
"You know I thought you didn't even like me...I thought you'd think I was too much like Naruto or something." Aoi said.
Sasuke lingered his lips over Aoi's.
"Well...you know what they say...opposites attract."
