• The crescent moon hung low over the creepy dark sky, like a gleeming knife pressed to the neck of a thief. Constellations cringed in the moon's masterfull light. Only a single star burned brightly-Algol, the Demon Star, the Eye of Medusa.

Astronomers had identified Algol in the night sky, as an eclipsing binary, twin stars revolving each other, hiding a third. The triplet stars continued their dance among the galaxies.

Below, the dunes began their drumming. They murmured, shifting their spines, and grew louder. In a silent war beyond all eyes, they thundered like a storm across a wind swept plane. Innumerable grains of sand, used to measure time in those glitterings European hourglasses, rolled one by one like enemies in war without purpose, to crash and rattle and rage.

Then, the stillness of death. Death coming to life. A black figured standing behind the back door. Hunger for blood. Vanishes into thin air when a loud scream was heard that cleared the dead silent of the night.

A woman found a dead man lying on the the streets of the back alley. There were blood everywhere. The man's neck were covered by his own blood. The autopsy discovered that the man was still alive when the woman found him which is a few minutes before the police came.

There were only slash on the man's neck and two wholes on his chest that was caused of some kind of a blunt weapon. Surprisingly, the man's heart wasn't in his cest. It was missing. Plus there were no fingure prints on him....

    To be continued...
