• Chapter Three
    Midgar
    Spiky?

Aya and Roxas landed safely in an Alley, and stepped out onto the main Street when Aya realized one fact. She didn’t know where to start looking for Cid. She walked up to the first person she saw, “Excuse me? Do you know where Cid is?” she asked, not realizing she’d gotten a Change of Clothes.

The man blinked, “Er… he’d be at work right now. His shop is just up the Street.” He told her, pointing up at the corner, “The store’s called Ship Shape.”

“Thanks!” she cheered, Roxas trailing behind her into the store. Aya was looking around, curiously distracted by all the gummi blocks that lined the walls. She didn’t realize there was anyone in front of her until she ran into someone’s hair, getting a Sharp Jab of red hair in each eye. She was glad that she and the two red heads in front of her were the only ones in the room at the moment, because she fell over, holding her hands over her eyes, “Ah! My eyes! My eyes!” She shouted.

“Is this one of yours, Reno?” she heard the one she ran into ask, obviously seeing the Shinra Suit that had replaced her original outfit.

“I JUST WENT BLIND!” Aya continued.

“… No. It’s not one of mine. Might be a new girl, though.” Reno shrugged, leaning against the wall.

    “Help me, someone…” Aya mumbled.

“We could just heal her, you know.” Spiky said.

“I like that suggestion!” Aya piped up.

“She ran into you, though… it’s her own fault.” Reno reminded him.

“I know what Riku felt like now!” she whined.

Spiky paused, ‘Riku… That was one of the ones Sora was looking for.’ He thought, a quick snap of his fingers, and he spoke, “Cure.” just in time for Roxas to come in.

Aya opened her eyes cautiously, finding herself face to face with Axel and Reno, but Axel wasn’t paying attention to her at the moment.

Axel had looked up from Aya when the door opened again, and gasped, “Roxas?” he said, looking at the blonde as though he might have been an illusion.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note, at this point I’m starting the AxelRoxas shipping. Because that is the best Pairing in Kingdom Hearts. And it’s implied (Axel: Let’s have some FUN like in the good old days)

Roxas’s eyes lit up at the sight of Axel, “Axel!” he shouted, running into the red head’s arms, “What happened? How’d you get here?”

Axel gave a little laugh, “I’ve been rooming with my Somebody.” He said, motioning over at Reno, “What about you? What are you doing here?” he asked, not letting go of the blonde.
“I’m here with Aya. She’s the new Keybearer. Her world was destroyed, and King Mickey figures there’s something going on.” He pushed his way out of Axel’s grasp gently, “What about you? Last time I… or rather Sora… saw you you were fading.” He said, crossing his arms.

Axel gave another dry laugh, “That’s right. You weren’t in the Organization long enough to learn all our tricks.” He smirked at him, “To put it in short, I vanished in a poof of Black Ninja smoke and hung around Castle Oblivion for a while. The roof has Phoenix Down Fairies on it.”
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
More Demyx Time Inspiration! The Phoenix Down Fairies are my idea. Black Ninjer (yes, Ninjer.) Smoke is all Jenx’s, though.

“Ah.” Roxas said, smiling up at Axel, starting to say something before Cid came out of the back room holding a package.

“Here’s that part, Reno. Now, what can I do for your kids?” he asked Aya and Roxas, turning his attention away from the two redheads.

“We need a Gummi Ship for two.” Aya told him, smiling.

Axel raised his hand, like he was in school, “Three.” He corrected.

“Huh?” Roxas and Aya asked together, turning to face him again.

“Oh, come on. I’m not letting you have all the fun saving the world, Roxas. I’m coming too.” He said, smirking, “Besides, I feel like I’m trapped here.” He admitted.

“Any particular place you need to go to?” Cid asked, just in time for a familiar Yellow dog to bound in with a note in his mouth.

Aya sighed in annoyance, “If Mickey has enough time to write a note and Send Pluto here, then why doesn’t he just come himself?” she mumbled, taking the note and scanning it’s contents, “Disney Castle. Chip and Dale will install my next NaviGummi when I get there.” She told Cid, shoving the note in her Bag.

Cid nodded, “That’ll be simple enough. I’ll be able to get you a basic Gummi Ship to get you there by… tomorrow morning.” He offered, “And I’ll need 5000 Munny.” He finished.
Aya nodded reluctantly, pulling out her 5000 Munny and looking at it for the first time, recognizing it immediately. It was the 5000 Munny you could never use in Kingdom Hearts Two, and suddenly she understood why. When she attempted to open it, it remained firmly shut. Finally giving up a minute later, she looked up at Axel hopefully, who passed the offer to Reno, giving him a stare down until he hissed, “Oh, fine. For the sake of the worlds I’ll pay for your blasted Gummi Ship.”

“Thank you, Reno!” Aya cheered, before turning back to Cid; “Do you know where Tifa is?” Aya asked, gently.

“She’ll be working over at the Bar right now. 5 blocks right and Two left.” Cid said, before realizing, “I didn’t catch your names.”

“I’m Aya, and this is Roxas.” Aya told him, smiling, before walking out of the store, “See you tomorrow!” she called.

    DAY FIVE

“Wake up!” Tifa said, “It’s morning!” she bent down and shook Aya, who was curled up in her spare bed.

Aya rolled away from Tifa’s touch, “5 more minutes….” She mumbled.

“Did I mention it’s Noon?” Tifa asked. Aya gasped, jumping up. Tifa smirked as she left the room, leaving Aya in peace to get ready.

Aya rushed out into the living room 12 minutes later, and all 6 people in the room burst out laughing, “Told you it would work.” Roxas said, as Axel passed him a bag of Munny.

“Huh?” Aya blinked, looking around at everyone, “What’s so funny?”

Leon stepped up to explain, “It’s 9:30 AM. Cid just called. You can leave anytime your ready, Keybearer.” He told her.

“I have a name, Squall Leonheart. It’s Aya.” She said, glaring at him.

“Don’t call me that. Ever.” Leon said, glaring back at her.

“Oh, come on, Leon. Lighten up.” Yuffie said, smiling at him.

“Let’s get going, Aya. The sooner we leave, the sooner we get there.” Roxas said, stepping between Leon and Aya.

“Right.” She said, not taking her eyes off of Leon, “Let’s go.” She said, finally breaking eye contact and heading towards the door.

“Alright!” Axel said, getting up a stretching, “See ya around, Reno.” He said, waving to his Somebody before following Aya and Roxas out the door.

They entered Cid’s shop in high spirits. Cid turned around when he heard the bell jingle, “Oh. Your ship’s around back. If you get new NaviGummis, you can come see me and I’ll put them in for you.” He paused, before remembering something else; “Oh, and Reno told me to tell you that he expects him Munny back.” He added.

“Thanks for the help, Cid!” Aya said, giving him a quick hug before running out back and jumping into the Gummi Ship. “To Disney Castle!” she shouted. Roxas and Axel jumped in behind her, and the cockpit closed, “Anyone know how to work this thing?”

Gah! More effing mistakes in the plot! >_< It’s the little things that bug me. Like the fact that I forgot that all the world were “restored and disconnected” so… Okay. Excuse for this one is that… er… Earth was destroyed, so now they’re not all disconnected. You know what that means? That means that worlds are being destroyed as Aya goes around locking some worlds! What do you expect? One teenage girl can’t get to every world in time!
