• Little Toyko clung onto the jagged rocks for his life. his clothes were torn, his body malnutritioned and covered in cuts and bruises.
He knew many children had fled the villages of Wastger and Jannon, where he was from, and into the mountains.

The two villages were at war, the reason why they were at war toyko was too young to understand.

His mother had been brutally killed by his father, who had started to turn his anger on Toyko.

He was sure the other children knew where they were going when they fled to the mountains, and that they were safe from the war and hatred that raged below him. If he just found those children he'd be saved.

suddenly he heard voices. "Ive found another one Ma! come quick hes litterally hanging off the rock!" Toyko saw an arm outstrech before him, and as he took it he saw it was a young woman about 20 smiling at him.

The woman led him to a cave. it was brightly lit with fires every where. the woman asked in a kind voice, "my name is Gwendolyn, you can call me Gwen. i'd like to know yours, are you one of the villagers?"
Toyko emmidetly felt a surge of joy as he aswered " my name is Toyko, yes, i came to the mountains to find refuge from the battles."
Gwen smiled sweetly and replied, "your safe here Toyko." she then looked behind her and shouted "denfro! will you get little Toyko here some food, im sure the poor things starving arnt you love?" "yes!" exclaimed Toyko. He was over powered with happyness and ran to hug Gwen his new mother.

Meanwhile below, in the village of Jannon, Heriosu kanishma shouted angrilly "where is that *!**"!* kid! he was ment to be here 10 minutes ago, im gonna ring his neck when i find him!" little did he know, his son Toyko Kanishma was no longer in the village. Heriosu had come straight from the battle field. he had killed at least 9 men.

In the heat of the hatred between Wastger and Jannon, both villages had appointed kings. the king of Jannon had promised Heriosu 20 acres of land and a big house with a beautiful wife if he carried on fighting the way he did.
