• The young woman stood in the shadows, watching, waiting. At first glance she looked like an average girl trying to stay out of the sun. A second glance would reveal her lily white skin, long, shimmery hair and unnerving black eyes, which, along with her slightly frail look, marked her out as faerie.
A third glance would have taken in the way she stood, body seemingly casual yet ready to spring into action at a moments notice, and where her unnerving eyes were looking; directly at a merchant, who was her target.
Since most folk didn't look beyond that thrid glance, none saw the hulking shadow that stood behind her. It was the troll Ambas, and her partner. He also watched, completely hidden by both the shadows and the girls ethereal appearance.

The merchant glanced up as the girl sauntered over, reaching out for a copper bracelet.
"Interesting design," She murmured, meeting his eyes. "Foreign?"
The merchant nodded, finding himself unable to lie. Little did he know that, as much as she hid it, he was talking to one of the most powerful mages in Slinsil. The girl almost smiled. This was too easy. She half turned and gestured to her partner, who also strode over.
"Dearest heart, do we have enough money for some new jewellery?" She asked sweetly, keeping up their cover story of two love-struck sweethearts.
"For you, love," He replied, voice a low rumble, "I would do anything." The merchant grinned; easy customers. Ambas reached inside his loosed shirt for a moment, then withdrew his hand. It was empty. The girl turned to the merchant.
"Might you be able to tell me where this fine piece came from?" She purred, leaning over a little further than neccessary. The merchant shook his head, but his mouth betrayed him.
    "Suyith."
