"Moooooommmm!" I yelled down the stairs. I couldn't find it, my favorite tux. It was a solid white piece with powder blue trimmings on it. Mom bought it for me years ago and I still couldn't find it in me to throw it out, even though I wasn't long from outgrowing it. "What honey? You need help finding your new tux?" New tux? What new tux? I didn't know anything about it yet."I didn't know I had a new one!?" I heard her swear and mumble something about it not being here yet. She came running up and into my sisters room while she was out. I caught her rummaging through the closet until she stood up straight, holding a gorgeous white dress in her hands."She won't miss it. Just treat it right." she said as she handed it to me. I had to admit that I liked it. It was rather nice. "Okay, I'll try it. Just don't blame me if I never want to be seen in public again after tonight." I told her jokingly. I didn't care. He wouldn't care either. I slipped into the dress in my room, pulling the shawl he gave me over my shoulders. Well, I guess It's more of a cloak than a shawl, just enough to keep me warm without being overbearing. It was my favorite possession, a beautiful tapestry of the heavens woven into cloth. I put on my favorite star clips to hold my hair back even though I couldn't keep the butterflies off me. I heard the doorbell ring and ran down to answer it. He handed me a bouquette of white roses, before he realized what I was wearing."You..you look stunning dude." was all he managed to squeak out before I was running out to his car and getting it carefully. I was planning on enjoying my prom. The school was going to have two prom kings for the first time in its history, even if I was wearing a dress.
((kinda makes me sorry I didn't have a Prom to go to. I probably would have shown up with a guy anyway. Gay Prom kings would have been funny sh**))
