I felt something, off, about these people. They weren't shooting to kill, more they were playing damage control. My rage was still sky high though, at what those punks had done to Tristan. I was still fighting to protect him. I had gleaned enough from what was goign on to realise that I was controling these winds, and that there was someone else, someone with those others who was fighting against my winds. I was rearing up to unleash a hurricane strength gale at the woman who seemed to be doing the most harm to my cause, when I heard it. It was soft, as if he barely had the strength to speak, let alone move."Kaya, don't hurt them. Please." Tristan spoke to me, almost pleadingly. I couldn't do that though, I had to protect him, but my winds had died down enough while I listened to him that I heard it. A man from the other group was yelling at one of the others, giving an order I assumed."Shadowcat! Get Psycho in there, now!" I saw a teenaged girl, maybe sixteen, seventeen at the oldest, grab onto an older boys arm and start pulling him with her towards me. I threw everything I could blow away at her, but they simply passed through her, or rather she passed through them. She kept getting closer, and i couldn't stop her, only stay with Tristan and protect him."Go away! Leave us alone!" I screamed as I tried to keep Tristan behind me, protecting him from them as best I could. The boy went around me while the girl grabbed my wrists and...surprisingly, she wrapped her arms around my waist and cried."We're trying to help you Kaya. What's wrong with you? Don't you recognize me anymore?!" I knew that voice."Ki-Kitty?" I calmed down then, albeit still on edge. Had they kidnapped Kitty for their own twisted reasons and were making her fight against me. I turned to the boy now though, he was knelt over Tristan, his hands on his chest and faint white light emenating from his hands. I saw Tristan moving slightly, as if uncomfortable and I immediately tried to knock the boy away from him."Stop hurting him!" I yelled as I tried to hit but Kitty grabed my wrist and my hand passed through the boy as if he weren't there."He's not hurting him Kaya, he's healing him, look." Kitty said and pointed. I saw that Tristan was moving again, but now he didn't seem to be discomforted. He stood up and after taking me in his arms, I felt my feet leave the ground. The look of terror on Tristan's face was gone, but he didn't look calm any more. We were moving closer to the group.
