"Matt" (9:05:15 PM): I take out my wallet and pull out a 20. "Here," I say as I give it to Maureen leaving the bathroom. "Tell your friend I said happy birthday. I stare at her for a little. "Wow, and I didn't think you could get anymore beautiful."
maure love (9:07:25 PM): I blush at his compliment. "Thanks Matt, you're too nice for your own good. But I can't accept the money. You already paid for my ticket. It's fine." I do something I normally wouldn't do. I kiss him on the cheek and head out the door. "Call me Matt." I can see the VIP limo pull up and I get in.
"Matt" (9:12:10 PM): I wave at Maureen as she leaves. I go and sit down next to Stephanie. "Are you okay?" I ask her. "You can tell me you know." She looks at me. "I ... I think ... I'm pregnant," she replies. That was easier than I thought it would be. "Do you know the father?" I ask her. "I think it's you." She replied.
maure love (9:15:11 PM): The party is great! A cute boy buys me a drink, actually two drinks. I'm felling the buzz of the liquor. I have just one more drink, I've never been drinking before and don't know my fill. I stumble a little and decide to call Matt. My words are slightly slurred though. "Matty? HEY! Could you....come pick me up?" I ask not really understanding what I'm saying.
"Matt" (9:17:21 PM): "Yeah, I'll be there in a little," I reply. I can tell she'd been drinking. I don't want her driving home or to be with anyone else in that condition. "I'll be there soon," I tell Maureen and I hang up. "Listen Stephanie, I gotta go pick Maureen up from that party," I tell her. "Well talk about this some other time, but I can't be the father, I sure of that." I get is the car and drive to the party.
maure love (9:37:41 PM): I'm really dizzy and feel really flirty. I keep drinking because that cute boy keeps handing me drinks. I go outside really quickly to see if matt is there. I see him pull up and I get in. My words are slurred. "Matty...thaankks" I feel like I want to kiss him, but don't, not yet.
"Matt" (9:39:06 PM): "You're okay right?" I ask her. "How was the party?" I say as we start to drive away.
maure love (9:42:03 PM): "Yeah....it was great. There was this cutie who kept giving me drinks, Matty, I think he got me drunk." I let my hair down and ask, "Do I look hot?" I'm so past drunk at the moment I don't know what I'm saying.
"Matt" (9:45:09 PM): I knew she was drunk from the start. I though she would know better than to get drunk though. I laugh, "You're always beautiful, Maureen. I think you should go to bed when we get back to my place. You take the bed, I'll sleep on the couch," I tell her.
maure love (9:46:22 PM): "Nah, I wanna sleep in your bed...with you!" I say. I feel really dizzy and ditzy. I want him to kiss me but I know he wouldn't.
"Matt" (9:48:16 PM): "No, you're drunk," I begin, "I won't sleep in the same bed with you like this." It's for our own good if it's that way.
maure love (9:49:22 PM): I laugh because I know he wants to. "Are you sure? I know you want to." I start laughing but nothing is funny.
"Matt" (9:50:48 PM): "No, I don't want to," I say, "I'm sure of this." Man she's blasted, I wonder how many she had.
maure love (9:51:46 PM): I start feeling drowsy and put my head down, I soon fall asleep.
"Matt" (9:53:58 PM): We pull into the driveway. I get out and go to the other side of the car. I pick Maureen up and carry her into the house.
maure love (9:54:49 PM): I start feeling ill, how many drinks did I have? I think I had three, did that cutie put something in my drink?
"Matt" (9:56:08 PM): I put Maureen in the bed and cover her up. Then I walk into the living room. Stephanie is already asleep. So I lie on the other couch and fall asleep.
maure love (9:57:34 PM): I wake up the next morning with a huge headache what happened last night? I get up to make some coffee, no one else is awake so I try and be as quiet as I can.
"Matt" (9:58:55 PM): After a good night sleep I awake to the smell of coffee. I walk into the kitchen and see Maureen in there. "How are you feeling?" I ask her.
maure love (10:00:14 PM): "Shh...not so loud!" I hold my head, it's throbbing. I sip my coffee and say, "Like death has stomped on my head. What happened?"
"Matt" (10:01:43 PM): "Do you remember that party you went to last night?" I began, "You said some cute guy kept giving you drinks. you called me and I picked you up. You were blasted."
maure love (10:03:20 PM): "Really? I've never drank before...I don't think I will ever again." I remember something else, "Did I say anything weird to you?" I put my head on the table and listen to what he's about to say.
"Matt" (10:04:43 PM): "Well ... ," I began as I thought back to the ride home, "yeah you did."
maure love (10:05:33 PM): "What...did I say?" I'm curious by his stutter to tell me.
"Matt" (10:06:50 PM): " ... you let your hair down and asked me if you looked hot," I replied, "and then you wanted to sleep together."
maure love (10:09:28 PM): I really was drunk. "Sorry Matt....I'm really sorry. I don't know why I said that." My head hurts so much. I get up and go into the bathroom and throw up. I really never will drink again. I go back into the kitchen and sip my coffee again. Stephanie gets up and sings "Good morning!!" at the top of her lungs. That hurt. I lay my head on the kitchen table and cover my ears.
"Matt" (10:11:17 PM): I turn to Stephanie, "Shhhh," I tell Stephanie, "She has a really bad headache." I turn back to Maureen, "You should probably lay in bed for a while."
maure love (10:12:46 PM): "SHH!" I say and get up. I go back into Matt's room and lay down. I fall asleep, or pass out, not to sure which one.
"Matt" (10:15:43 PM): I go and sit back down on the couch. Stephanie sits down next to me. "I though about it," she stated, "and I think I was drunk that night, I don't remember anything else about it though."
maure love (10:17:22 PM): I wake up again and run to the bathroom, I throw up again. I decide to brush my teeth and take a Tums. I return to Matt's bed and fall back asleep.
"Matt" (10:21:04 PM): "Are you sure you don't remember that night?" I ask her. "Yeah, I’m sure," she replies. I don't know what else to do at this point. If she has no memory then we can't really do anything about it.
maure love (10:25:43 PM): I keep on waking up and feeling sick. I slowly walk to the kitchen and see the two of them talking. I quietly get some milk and a slice of bread. I sit at the table tying not to throw up the food I just ate.
"Matt" (10:27:09 PM): "Feeling any better Maureen?" I ask her. I hope she gets better soon.
maure love (10:28:35 PM): I look over at him and say, "Not really....I keep throwing up. It's disgusting but I'll survive. You two can keep talking, I'm fine." My headache is going away a little, so that’s good.
"Matt" (10:30:16 PM): "Well, we kinda hit a crossroad," I began. Then Stephanie speaks up, "He knows Maureen, but we're sure he's not the father."
maure love (10:31:51 PM): I get up and go into the living room with my milk and bread. "Oh...any way I could help out?" I ask, I start feeling sick again but drink some milk and start to feel a little better.
"Matt" (10:32:52 PM): "I don't really know," I reply, "When you're feeling better try helping her remember."
maure love (10:34:08 PM): I think about this, "Matty, I wasn't there, so that might be a problem." My head starts throbbing again, dang it hang overs suuckk!
"Matt" (10:35:18 PM): "Yeah, I wasn't there either," I replied. "Maybe we could try to find out who was there."
maure love (10:36:22 PM): I say, "Maybe, remember where you were at all?" I ask. I hope it was at my friends club because he has a list of all the entries on all days.
"Matt" (10:37:46 PM): "I was here, I didn't go to the party because I was sick," I replied.
maure love (10:39:12 PM): "I see. Where were you Stephanie?" I ask. She hesitates to answer, "At Johnny's house. He was having a party and I went."
"Matt" (10:40:32 PM): "Who was there?" I ask Stephanie. She gives a list of names, which includes about half of our class.
maure love (10:41:38 PM): I almost laugh. "Matt, are you saying that we have to ask half of our class if they had sex with Stephanie? That might start lots of rumors."
"Matt" (10:42:36 PM): "No, I couldn't do that to her," I begin. "We just need to know the last person she remembers seeing."
maure love (10:43:43 PM): "Okay, so who was it Stephanie?" I ask, getting to the point before I hurl. She says, "The last person I remember seeing was Daniel."
"Matt" (10:45:43 PM): "Daniel?" I ask. "Yeah, I remember going off with him now that I think of it," Stephanie says
maure love (10:48:37 PM): I feel angry with Daniel, he used to be someone like my brother. I stopped being around him after he started drinking. I know him well. "I don't think it's him. He's gay." I say, everyone looks surprised.
"Matt" (10:49:59 PM): "I'm confused," I state, "Are you sure there wasn't anyone else it could be?" I ask Stephanie.
maure love (10:52:00 PM): She starts crying and saying, "I don't know, I don't know." over and over. It isn't really helping my headache, it's actually making it worse. I hold my ears to shut her out. I hope Matt hurries up and comforts her, because I'm not going to.
"Matt" (10:56:05 PM): "Its okay, we don't have to continue this," I tell her, "We'll worry about this some other time." Stephanie starts to stop her crying. She whispers something in my ear. "Are you sure?" I ask her. She replies, "Yes, one of them."
maure love (10:58:59 PM): Thank goodness she stopped. Stephanie said something I didn't hear, I want to know. I look over to them but my head keeps pounding so I don't say anything. "Hey you two, I'm going back to bed my head is killing me."
"Matt" (11:02:19 PM): "Okay," I reply, "get better soon." After Maureen goes to bed I call Daniel and ask him a few questions. It wasn't him. That leaves the other guy. I call his house, but he doesn't answer.
maure love (11:03:30 PM): I fall back asleep really quickly but wake up a couple minutes later wondering what Stephanie whispered to Matt about.
"Matt" (11:04:54 PM): I go to the bathroom and take the wrapping off my hand. It's finally healed. As I walk out, Maureen is right there. "Feeling better Maureen?"
maure love (11:05:46 PM): "Yeah, not to be rude, but did Stephanie say anything about Shawn?" I ask curiosity is killing me.
"Matt" (11:06:46 PM): She nailed it. I don't know how, but she guessed right. "Yes, she did," I reply as I look down at the ground.
maure love (11:08:40 PM): I'm hurt. "He did this while going out with me? Damn him.” I say getting angry. My headache pounds in my head. I almost faint from it. I think the drinks that cutie gave me were drugged. I sit on the floor.
"Matt" (11:10:26 PM): "I think this happened before he was going out with you. Hey, are you okay?" I ask her. "I though you were better." I normal hangover should've worn off my now.
maure love (11:11:58 PM): "I think he drugged me." I say and things get fuzzy. "Damn...." I slouch over and then hit the ground.
"Matt" (11:15:38 PM): I pick Maureen up gently. I approach the door. "Stephanie, I'm going to the hospital, I think Maureen is drugged." "Do you want me to stay here?" She asks me. "Yeah," I say as I run out the door. I put Maureen in the car and buckle her up.
maure love (11:17:11 PM): I can't believe it was Shawn, and now he'll probably get Danielle pregnant too....
"Matt" (11:19:35 PM): We arrive at the emergency room. I run in with Maureen in my arms. "She was drugged last night," I tell the doctor. We go into his office and he examines her. "She is drugged," he states, "Its nothing seriously harmful, she'll be fine."
maure love (11:21:06 PM): I feel someone pick me up again. I openly eyes slightly, the bright light burns. It's Matt, brows creased. I say quietly, "Matt?"
"Matt" (11:22:58 PM): "Yes, Maureen?" I reply, "You'll be fine." I carry her back out to the car.
maure love (11:24:13 PM): "Where am I?" I ask weakly, I feel like someone sucked out all of my energy.
"Matt" (11:24:56 PM): "You're at the hospital," I reply, "actually, we're on our way back home."
maure love (11:26:02 PM): "Okay." I don't remember much of this morning except about Shawn and being sick a lot. "How is Stephanie?" I ask.
"Matt" (11:27:27 PM): "I don't really know, but she seemed to be okay when I left," I replied as I opened up the car and set Maureen in.
maure love (11:28:32 PM): "Matty? I think I'm gonna sleep for this car ride." I say quietly. I rest my head on the seat and fall asleep easily.
"Matt" (11:29:48 PM): That’s okay, I understand I think to myself. On the ride home thoughts of everything run through my head. We arrive back. "Maureen, we're back," I say quietly.
maure love (11:31:23 PM): I wake up and smile at Matt. "Okay." I get out of the car but my legs feel like Jell-O. "Could you help me out a little?" I fell silly asking for his help again.
"Matt" (11:32:02 PM): "Sure," I say as I take her hand. "Do you want me to carry you?"
maure love (11:33:39 PM): "Nope. Thanks anyway." I put my hand around his waist instead and walk up to the house. We walk in and find Stephanie asleep, what a surprise.
"Matt" (11:35:06 PM): "You still tired?" I ask Maureen quietly as to not awake Stephanie.
maure love (11:36:10 PM): "Kinda, I think I just want to chill in you room for now. Wanna keep me company?" I ask, figuring he has nothing else to do but worry about things.
"Matt" (11:37:45 PM): "Yeah, I guess so," I reply, it’s better than taking a nap.
maure love (11:38:38 PM): He helps me to his room when I realize something. "Matty? Where are my stuffed animals?"
"Matt" (11:40:33 PM): "I think they're downstairs, I'll get them for you." I sneak downstairs quietly and grab the stuffed animals. Then I sneak back up stairs. "Here you go," I say as I give them to Maureen and sit down next to her.
maure love: I take my stuffed animals and say. 'Thanks for always being there Matt." I hug him. "Hey we should go to the beach. I'm feeling better, I think that stuff has finally worn off."
"Matt": "That’s a great idea," I reply, "I'm glad to hear you're better too." The beach is always fun. "When do you want to go?"
maure love: I think, 'We should check on Stephanie, but as soon as possible." I got a new bikini that is really cut and I want to wear it.
"Matt": "Okay, lets go check on her," I reply. I hope she's feeling better.
maure love: We go into the living room to check on Stephanie, she says that she's feeling better and also wants to go. "I'm gonna go change." I say and go into Matt's room to get my bikini. I put it on and slide a short jean skirt over the bottoms. I don't feel like putting a shirt on over the top so I don't. I love this bathing suit, makes me look awesome. I go out of his room to let Stephanie change.
"Matt": I head down to the basement to gather things for the beach. While I'm down there I find an old shovel I used to play with when I was at the beach when I was young. I laugh at this.
maure love: I sit on the couch and se Stephanie come out. She looks upset; you can see her pregnant belly already. "Something wrong?" I ask. "Yeah, look how skinny your are compared to me!" She says. I can tell this worries her; she went from my size to about four sizes bigger. "It's okay Steph, you'll be back to your old self soon." I say trying to make her feel better and she then smiles.
"Matt": I come back up and load the car. I do this several times. Then the last time I come up holding the little plastic shovel.
maure love: I see Matt holding that old shovel as we get into the car. "You still have that too?" I ask not surprised, he keeps everything.
"Matt": "Yeah, I guess I do," I say laughing. I start the car and pull out of the driveway. This shovel has fun memories.
maure love: I look back at Stephanie, she still looks unhappy. I try not to let this put a downer on the trip. I can't wait to get there!
"Matt": After about a half hour of driving, I pull over at a rest area. "I gotta use the bathroom," I say laughing. "You girls should go too."
maure love: I decide to go to the bathroom also, Stephanie stays in the car though. We get back in the car and keep driving towards the beach. "Is anyone else excited?" I ask trying to break the silence.
"Matt": "I'm excited about the beach, but the drive isn't really that fun," I say. "Hey, the radio might help, any recommendations?"
maure love: "I want to listen to rap." Says Stephanie. "Me too!" I say happily. Matt looks at us strangely.
"Matt": I can tolerate that for a while. "Okay," I reply. I turn on the radio. "Umm, what station?"
maure love: I say, "103.3" Stephanie smiles as he turns it on. I can start to see the beach, but just a little. "How much longer Matt?" I ask getting antsy.
"Matt": "About ten minutes," I reply. Only ten more minutes then we can stretch our legs.
maure love: I keep a look out for any dolphins, they come around this time of year. "Hey Stephanie, keep your eyes peeled for dolphins." I look out into the distance trying to see one.
"Matt": "Ah, dolphins are cool," I say as we pull into the parking lot. "Okay, we're here."
maure love: "Yes!" I say and jump out of the car. I run onto the sand and drop my stuff on the sand. I take off my skirt and flip flops. I go by the water and check the temp.
"Matt": "Wow, she really loves the beach huh?" I ask Stephanie as I get out of the car and open the trunk. "Yeah she does," Stephanie replies slowly getting out of the car.
maure love: I finally get into the water and get all wet. I get out really quickly to see what’s taking the others so long. "Need any help you guys?" I ask. I spot my skim board and go to grab it.
"Matt": "That’s okay, I'll handle it," I reply to Maureen. "Why don't you go join her Stephanie?" I ask her, "I'll get all the stuff." She looks at me with teary eyes.
maure love: I can see Stephanie starting to cry. "Hey Steph, what's wrong?" She doesn't reply so I think she wants to talk to Matt only. I go back in the water and do some tricks on my skim board. It's been a while since I last used this thing.
"Matt": I look at her puzzled at what could've made her sad. Then I realize it. "Oh," I say in a low voice, "Lets go set this up in our spot, I'll sit with you for a while."
maure love: I wonder what's wrong with her. Could it still be the skinny thing? I hope not. I'm not concentrating on what I'm doing and eat it. I swallow some water so I get out and sit on the beach with my board, just looking at the ocean. I start sculpting the sand.
"Matt": I set up our spot and dig through out bag. I take out the shovel and smile. I start to play with the sand. "So, is there anything you want to talk about?" I ask Stephanie. "No, not right now," she replies.
maure love: I get up to go back in the water, but look back at Stephanie just to make sure she's okay. I grab my board and head back in. I try to do my hardest trick, a 360 wave. I try and don't get it at first.
"Matt": I build the best castle I ever had. Then I laugh at it. I start building a city around the castle. "You know Stephanie, Maureen and I will be here for you if you ever need us," I tell her. "Thanks," she replies.
maure love: I finally get my trick down, which makes me think of Daniel. He's the one who taught me it. I really miss being around him. I get out and rejoin my two friends. "Better Steph?" I ask.
"Matt": She looks at me then looks at Maureen, "Yeah, I'm better," She replies. As I finish my city of sand, someone steeps on it. I look up at him with anger.
maure love: I see that someone smushed Matt's awesome sand castle. I look up and am shocked at who it is.
"Matt": "Hello, Shawn," I say with disgust. "What the hell brings you here?" I ask him
maure love: Shawn. "What do you want Shawn." I say as he looks over at me and smiles. "Don't you look at me, you scum bag." I say with anger. He is ruining our day already. Stephanie looks upset, so that's why she started crying. She saw him before us. "Hello Maureen. Hello Matt. Hey Stephanie, how’s it going?" He asks her.
"Matt": I get up and stand in his face. "I think you should go somewhere else, the beach is big enough for you go not be around us."
maure love: Matt's really angry now. I touch his hand softly, I don't want any fights today. "Go away Shawn, don't ruin our day anymore then you ruined our lives." He recoils from my words but keeps his place.
"Matt": I feel Maureen’s hand touching mine. She must not want us to fight. "Shawn, please, just get away from us," I demand.
maure love: "Fine, I'll call you later baby." He points his fingers to me and winks, he starts walking off. I'm still holding Matt's hand, I don't care though. As long as that keeps him from beating Shawn into a pulp.
"Matt": I mumble an insult under my breath after Shawn leaves. "I can't believe he had the nerve to do that!"
maure love: Matt sits back down and I say, "I know, real nerve." I get up and say. "I'll be right back, anyone want something from the snack bar?" Stephanie replies with, "An ice cream please." I ask, "How about you Matt?"
"Matt": "No, that’s okay, I don't want anything," I reply. I wasn't in the mood to eat or drink anything.
maure love: "Okay." I get up and walk to the snack bar, I see Shawn over there looking at me. What a creep. I walk past him and he says, "Looking good baby." I keep walking but he follows me. He backs me up in a corner and start kissing me. "Stop it!" I yell loudly. I punch him in the stomach and run out of the corner. I feel dizzy, would he have raped me? No, not in a place so public. He's getting up so I start running back to my friends.
"Matt": I see Maureen running back. "What’s wrong?" I ask her when she gets back.
maure love: I'm out of breath and can barely make out. "Matt....Shawn kiss....tried to. He backed me...into a corner...." I'm really out of breath now. I sit down and try to regain my breath.
"Matt": I get up as Shawn run over. I close-line him and he falls to the ground. I kneel on his chest with one leg. "Do you know how bad you messed these girls lives up!" I yell. "How many more girls do you have to hurt until you're satisfied!" I yell.
maure love: Stephanie start crying and I watch in horror, I don't want them to fight. Matt...please don't get hurt.
"Matt": I get off him and pick him up by his shirt. "Now never come by me again!" I yell. Then I throw him back down and walk back to the girls. I sit down.
maure love: Stephanie is still crying and I'm at a loss for words. I scoot over to Matt and hug him tightly. "Are you alright?" I keep hugging him.
"Matt": "Yeah," I reply, "I'm fine." It actually felt good getting that off my shoulders.
maure love: I sit back down and comfort Stephanie. She starts hugging me so I pat her back. She slowly clams down. I try to brighten the mood by saying, "Anyone up for swimming?" Stephanie looks up and smiles, she nods yes.
"Matt": "Yeah, I think I need to cool off," I reply. I get up and walk over to the ocean.
maure love: I help Stephanie to her feet and I run in the ocean with my skim board. I immediately catch a wave and do a 180. I start laughing and eat it. I go to the top and see that Stephanie hasn't gotten in yet. I get out and put my board on the beach. We slowly get in together.
"Matt": As soon as I reach water deep enough, I dive under the water. I don’t come back up until after a minute.
maure love: Once Stephanie is in she asks, "Maureen? Would you mind getting me a bogie board?" I reply with, 'Sure give me one sec." I dive under and get out. I run to the car and grab her board. I run back into the ocean and give it to her. "Thanks!" She says and floats all wily nilly about. I get out again to get my skim board. I go back in and drift with Stephanie. Where did Matt go?
"Matt": I continuously keep diving under for about a minute each time. I swim around under the water for a while.
maure love: "I'm gonna go catch some waves. is that okay?" I ask. "Yeah it's fine. I think I'm gonna go get a tan." Stephanie replies. She goes and gets out. I see a really nice wave coming up. I go out and catch it. I do to 360s and loose control. I fall into the ocean with a thud. I come up and go onto shore. I think I scratched myself up a little on a rock. Yep, I have a gash on my arm and side. I go back to the snack bar because the nurse's office is there. They bandage me up.
"Matt": When I rise from under the water I look around. I don't know where the girls when, so I get out and head back our spot.
maure love: I start walking out of the nurse's office when a cute life guard starts talking to me. We chat for about 10min and we go our separate ways. I finally get our ice cream and head back to where Stephanie is. I still can't find Matt.
"Matt": I look around at try to find our spot, I see Maureen heading in a direction, and so I head that way too. I finally find the spot. "Hello," I say cheerfully.
maure love: "Hi Matt, you sound less heated." I say with a smile. I had Stephanie her ice cream and she starts eating. I sit down next to her realizing that I don't want my ice cream anymore. I hand it to Stephanie. 'You can have mine too, I'm gonna go swim again." I get up and go back into the ocean.
"Matt": I sit down next to Stephanie. "I'm tired out," I reply, "I'm going to take a nap, wake me up in ten minute so I don't get sun burnt.
