there was a knock at the door
ann~go away. i thought the nurse made it clear about visitors
the door opened adn the hokage came in
sarutobi~i heard what you said to kakashi
ann~shutup...i mean it...leave me alone...
sarutobi~he just wanted to help you...
ann~the only way he can help me is to stay out of my way
sarutobi~zabuza really meant the world to you didn't he?
ann~he did...and i can't do anything about it...
sarutobi~doctors are saying yuo've been having tears since kakashi was in here last...never slept?
ann~didn't...just resting my eyes...i'm not hungy at all either...
sarutobi~are you trying to pass out from exahstion?
ann~that's just me...when he told me my parents died, i stayed up and didn't eat for five days...
sarutobi~and you'll be doing that again aren't you?
ann~yeah...longer if i can
she pushed a button. the room was silent till a nurse came in
nurse~yes? need anything?
ann~just a new pillow...that's it...
she bowed and replaced the pillow ann was usuing then left
sarutobi~you've been crying alot haven't you?
ann~there was so much that i could have done that i didn't do...
sarutobi~i took a look at your locket, i hope you don't mind, but your father
ann~all i know is that his name was auron...
sarutobi~he was of the maboroshi clan. they have a connection to the deceased, especially through dreams. think well on it
ann~i wish to be alone...
sarutobi~alright ann...oh yeah...kakashi wanted me to give you this
he gave her a few peppermints then left
ann~mints...i don't need mints...
she dropped them over the bed side
ann~i don't want to...i know that i'll just start laughing...
she wiped her tears and was reminded of the needle in her arm
ann~for the iv and blood thing...i'm just gonna die anyway why bother?...what was he talking abput anyway? sounds like a useless blood line...
she looked out the window as some doctors came in for her check ups
ann~how long has it been since i've been in here?
doctor~three days. not very long
ann~when will i be able to go?
doctor~you keep up the way you are right now, within a few days. but you will be passing out from total exahstion sooner or later
ann~hmph...like i need their lectures...
nurse~need anything else before we leave?
ann~no...just for the lights out...
they left closing the shades leaving some light and turning the lights over head off
ann~i want zabuza with me...no one will ever know what i'm going through...no one will ever...
she sighed and her eyes drooped a little
ann~why...so tired...

kakashi~hello. how's ann today?
nurse~hello kakashi. she should be out by now...
kakashi~out? outside walking around out?
nurse~no...because we think that she has not slept at all for the past three days, we injected some sedative into her IV during the check up we did
kakashi~oh...ok...when should she be out?
nurse~the doctor says in about two days, but even then she it would be wise that she is to stay one more day
kakashi~alright...till then i'll just keep checking in...
