Characters: People, Animals, Or Creatures Present In A Story.
Author's Purpose: Why Did They Write This? To Inform, Entertain. Pursuede. Or To Inlighten Or Reveal An Important Truth?
Protagonist: The "Good Guy/Girl",
Antagonist: The "Bad Guy/Girl".
Characterization: A Writer Reveals How A Character Behaves, And How They Change Throughout The Story.
Direct Characterization: Artist Openly Tells How The Character Is.
Indirect Characterization: Shown Through Other's Thoughts, And The Character's Thoughts, Or Actions.
Plot: What Happens, And How It Happens In A Narrative.
Narrative: Any Work That Tells A Story. A Short Story, Novel, Or Drama (ect.)
Exposition: Opening Chapter. Gives Rise To Conflict, And Characters Are Introduced.
Rising Action: Events Resulting From The Central Action. Procedes To The Climax.
Climax: The Highest Point Of Conflict, Suspense, Or Interest. There Can Be More Than One, But Only One End Climax.
Resolution: The Conflict Ends, Central Action Has Stopped. Lack of Central Action Prevents The Continuation Of The Story.
Conflict: The Central Struggle Of The Story.
External Conflict: (War, A Struggle In The World) An Outside Force.
Internal Conflict: ('A Beautiful Mind') Battling One's Mentality. A Decision.
