Personality: He is like an unwashed paintbrush, bristles hardened with time and caked with paint. There was once a time when he refused to accept life as a vampire, detest it even. But over time he has come to blossom into this new life - and even, enjoy it. Centuries of hunting and feeding has changed him from a bright eyed young man into a manipulative, sensual monster; whose own libido and everlasting thirst controls him. Whatever was left of him from before this curse took root is now long dead, a distant memory he so fondly remembers.
Bio: Andante was born a tradesman - just like his father, and his father before him. Although born in the alpine tundras of Russia, he has been nearly everywhere across this great globe at one point or another, though most of his childhood was spent in a tiny snowy village far outside the great city of Moscow. As a young man he served as a soldier in the Russian army, fighting against Germany during World War 1. It was during this time when he lost sight in his right eye, caused by shrapnel from a grenade explosion. After the battle ended, the survivors of his unit escaped to the woods, Andante heavily wounded and left delirious from the explosion. One by one the remaining few of his party were picked off by what they assumed to be German soldiers, however what they would discover in these long lost woods was something... far worse.
One night out of their two week stay in these god forsaken woods, the remaining five soldiers were confronted by a man who bore no colors on his uniform. Andante's comrades tried to kill him, but he moved too quickly, inhumanly- and in result, he effortlessly killed them all. Andante was the only one left, on the verge of death himself as the gash across his chest began to grow infected and fester. However, it was the mysterious soldier who offered him a remedy, in return for a favor. Unknowingly he accepted the stranger's deal and much to his surprise the man sank his teeth into his neck, draining away what blood he hadn't already bled out. He passed out, and when he awoke it was in someplace cold, damp, and dark. The mysterious man informed him of what he had done, and in return what Andante would have to do for him. The man was an ancient vampire who called himself Alcove you see, and he sought nothing more than an end to his painfully long life as a vampire. However, no mortal could kill him and he refused to kill himself, so, it would be Andante's job as a newly turned vampire to do it for him. When it came time however, Andante could not bring himself to kill the man who had saved his life - so, he did the cowardly thing and ran away, wherein he found a refuge with other vampires here at the mansion.
