Welcome back to The AfterStuff. It's been awhile since I've added to this journal, but I finally got an entry request. One of my friends have asked me to add an entry about Labels, not like price tags, but like general assumptions. Here goes!
Everyone has a label, whether we like it or not. This label will undergo slight alterations throughout our lives, but it does exist. So, you shouldn't go through life trying to get people not to label you. Instead, let them make their label. Allow them to think what they think they want to think. Just keep being you. People will get to know you, reguardless of how much they may dislike it. If your label's wrong, time will have it fixed. If it's right, time'll probably break it a few times. See, a label is like a mask. People hide you behind that mask, and begin to think of that mask as you. But as time goes on, the mask will get old, crack, break here and there... Then people will see the real you. They'll fill in the cracks, repair the mask as best as they can, but once they've seen you, they won't forget who you really are. They can't pretend you're a mask anymore. That mask will change, every time somebody sees who you are. The mask will never look quite like you. No person can paint the perfect picture. No person can write the perfect song. No person, no matter what, can completely and fully understand what you've been made to be. They can see glimpses. They can see fragments. But the whole of you, belongs to you and God.

The AfterStuff of D Kyzer
I guess it SHOULD be afterMATH, but math bores me. Stuff is cool. This is a place where my insanity goes. (Or at least some of it.) There may be a little bit of quotable thinking here, but those moments will probably be few and far between.
