• “We all agree that many deaths have appeared a lot more then we think, and to prove that you just have to look down on the ground of our dead relatives and ancestors who are stained on the surface forever, impossible to scrape off, but only piled up more with other dead animals…its been seven years…and its upsetting to watch this kind of hell of a chaos to happen eating one another, when what we really need is strength to get back what we used to have.”
The crows on the rooftops flew off, and the last one stayed and listened in entrest pecking its feather every once in awhile. Another dog barked in reply “How do we find this “strength”? When were obviously skin and bones here, hoping to live as long as possible.” Everyone barked out in agreement. “Its simple all we need is teamwork”
    “But were do we start?”
“First we need to start a network with all sorts of animals that can accompany us, and help us fight.”
“Fight, are we going to war, isn’t their enough gory on this earth already?”
“Does everyone have to go including us, and our pups?”
“We’ve been fighting to get food, I’ve tasted enough blood already!” yelled out another. Everyone popped out questions yelling here and their, and everywhere. “How do you expect us to fight when were at our weakest?”
“Yea, I’m so weak that the only thing I ever eat are mouse and rats!” she shouted
“I’m so hungry that I end up eating my own puppies!” one cried out. A few agreed and some replied in anger and disgust “You eat your own pups, how awful!”
“Shut up you don’t know how its like to be close to death in hunger!” he growled. The air felt intense by the minute, the crow decided to scoop in. Everyone saw the reflection of the shadow; they all looked above them, flew in the dark bird. “Oh quiet you dogs why are you causing so much drama?!” cawed the crow. Everyone looked at its beak, moving back afraid of its sharpness, cautious of the bird attack. It landed in the centure “By the way I’m a female, just incase you didn’t know.” She looked around and notice their reactions “Jeez its not like I’m going to eat you….yet” everyone whimpered and huddled for safety. “Oh my gosh I was just kidding, sorry okay?” no one didn’t come any closer. “I don’t even like eating dogs!” their was no response their was dead silence, its as if they turned to statues. “Will anyways whoever is planning with this “teamwork” thing please give us a quick brief about how you want things to go?” Everyone faced the hound who was carried by a bull dog, but the hound could not say no more because he had quietly died during the argument. “So” the crow said “does anyone else know?” Their was one who replied “It depends” this dog was different because he had a collar around his neck but it was dirtied, old, and ripped up in some parts. He was one of those kinds that still thinks he have his master love. The crow looked at everyone elses naked neck and it seems like their was only one dog who had a collar. She tilt her head slightly “Depends on what?” she asked. “Depends on how much you had herd” as he walked closer to her, everyone made way for him. She looked closer at his collar “Does that say spay?”
“No its Sparky, but you have not answered me”
“Oh Sparky, of course who else doesn’t name their pet Sparky?”
    “How much did you herd?”
“Oh quit enough to know that you need lots of help”
“What were you doing on the roof?”
“I was just having my good morning time until I herd you guys barking”
“And what made you want to come down here?”
“To come and help, duh what other reasons are their?”
    “There are always other reasons”
“Mind me if I ask how old you are?”
“I’m only 8 years old, dog years”
“Will your quit tough aren’t you?”
“No, times are just dangerous and its better if you take precaution”
“Very true, even if I have wings doesn’t mean I’m safe, anyways lets get back on the subject, how are you going to get allies?”
    “Me?”
“Will, who else should I talk to?”
Sparky felt a bit offended. “Will I’m not sure how we can get allies, he always talked about it to me”
“Then why don’t you know it if he talked about it to you?”
“Will I don’t know were to start!”
“You better figure out how you want to start this I’m not the leader here since I’m not of this race.”
“I’m not the leader either, why are you asking me”
“BECAUSE YOU’RE THE ONE THAT WAS WILLING TO TALK TO ME ABOUT IT!”
“I was probably the only one he talked too the most, he even said he trusted me.”
“Then do you have the potential in becoming a leader?”
“Why are you so into this?!”
“Ugh, had you tasted the food lately?” she asked “Enough, now you need to answer my question, are you willingly to be able to be the group leader of this huge pack of yours?”
Sparky gave it a moments thought “I don’t know I can probably try”
“Try, no you need to do, if you don’t have the courage then you might as well just reside yourself and pick someone else.” Spark felt a slight twinge, he thought to himself what if they made a mistake if he wasn’t their because he had all the information. Then again the new leader can be twice as good as him. He want to pick a contemporary leader, but still wasn’t sure. He looked back and saw everyone of his race whispering to one another.
“A leader?.. have we ever gotten a leader before?”
    “I don’t know”
“We didn’t even have a leader in the first place, right?”
“I think it was the hound, but he’s gone now”
Everyone started chattering away as if the crow wasn’t a threat to them anymore but part of the group.
