• Chapter 1: Goals, Goals, & more Goals

    Dear journal, I have decided to become a worldwide super-star! I have little goals I set for myself below:

    1) Make fliers to give out (ask Anni and Lana to help).
    2) Convince Lynya to make an article for the school’s newspaper “The Daily Lynx News”.
    3) Get Mrs. McBailey (the principal) to approve and announce me and let me go on the stage to perform.
    “Mom, Dad look at this, I made my goals for me being a superstar.” I said eagerly. “Terrific, sweetie. We will support you in every way……..” Mom said nicely. “Remember what I said follow your dreams and let no one step on you.“ Dad said in a stern way. “Lillee, please get your coat and walk to the bus stop. Your sisters are already there.” Mom said seriously.
    Those aren’t all of my goals it’s just a couple of them. I guess that’s it for the day,
    
     Chapter 2: Lianna the bug

    I made fliers with Lana last night. Too bad Anni had chores to do as she texted me.

    I was kind of disappointed that Anni didn’t come to help me but, she promised she would come over tomorrow to check it and suggest ideas.
    “Lana, shouldn’t it be colorful?” I asked. “Getting there…Lil, my goodness you are so impatient!” Lana squealed loudly. “It’s just that I am so excited…….” I started thinking. “We all are, Lillee take a deep breath and some chill pills.” Lana said and went in the kitchen. “Here they are, the chill pills.” Lana said in a giggly voice and hands me some Hot Tamales.

    Lianna and her friends/populars won’t stop bugging me. First, she wouldn’t stop staring and now she won’t stop giggling. I have a funny feeling it’s about me.
    Gotta go, I have to see what this is all about!!!

    “What do you want Lianna?” I blurted out. “Oh, it’s just that you…….” Lianna said as she looked away from me. “Don’t you dare say nothin, Lyanauh.” Addie Trenton screamed out loud with her country accent. “Oh yeah, right.” Lianna said quickly and walked away.
    Man, those girls have some serious issues!!!
    
     Chapter 3 : Fliers

    Anni came over and helped me with my fliers (example below).
    I went to the office earlier to get them approved. “Excuse me, ma’am I would like to see Principal Mrs. McBailey” I said weirdly. “She is in her office. She’ll be with you……“ Ms. Verves spoke in a strong New York accent. ”Hello Miss. Lillee, how’s your mom?” Mrs. McBailey said warmly as she came out. “She’s great…… can I borrow the stage on Friday?” I asked kinda nervous. “Well,….You do have outstanding grades and you been such an angel well… I am unsure. What do you think Julia?” She looked at me with a poker face then glanced at Ms. Verves. “I’m going to use the money for the school.” I said very shaky. “I would say give it to her, Leslie” Ms. Verves smiled at me and said “… because she’s such a good kid.” Mrs. McBailey locked eyes with her and smiled. “I don’t see why not… of course did you ask your Mom?” She smiled and looked happy like always. “Yep, already done.” I just smiled widely. “Well then, I will give a bit of time at the end of the day and let that party planner club help you out.” She said joyfully.
    I’m glad she approved them very quickly. I’ll copy them and hand them out later today.

     Chapter 4: Planning

    It’s just a couple more days until my school concert. Lianna said she actually wants to see me at the concert. I am practicing my electric guitar, so I don’t mess up on Wednesday. My friends are going to help me with instrument players, Music setup, lighting, background singers + dancers, and the food. I already know what songs I will do (ideas below).

    I showed Cinya and Lana my list.
    “Good job sis……. You should have put The Yeah yeah yeahs.” Cinya said disappointedly. “oh…..uh Cin…that is a terrible band.” I said shyly being careful of what I say because we all don‘t want to set her off. “I agree with Lillee.” Lana said “I was just joking I really hate that terrible band. No offense to a them and all their fans…” Cinya said in her usual moody voice. “LILLEE YOU’RE ON TV!!! LOOK,LOOKIE HERE!!!” She suddenly shouted. “I am…I AM WATCH ME!!!” I shouted and I turned to our 52 inch TV. Mom, Kaylee, and RyRy slipped right behind us. “What all the hub…bub…” RyRy spoke slowly and watched. This is Kaitlyn Miller and this is 8 news. I have a special report from Marstell Middle School. A girl named Lillee Berg is going to perform a mini-concert there on stage at 5:00 pm. There will be snacks and drinks there for 50 cents. I have my daughter in on it. The camera switched to Lynya and there was a tiny picture of me in the corner of the screen on the right. Lillee is one of my best friends and she’ll have an awesome concert. She’ll be playing songs from Christina Aguilera, Paramore, and Flyleaf. So all you teens and parents come on out!!! Then the camera switched to her mom and she talked something about a murderer in Illinois that came to Washington, D.C and got arrested. Nothing that interesting.
    Man, I love Lynya (as buds) See ya!!!
    


     Chapter 5: Almost there

    that’s why I will give them a speech about how they helped Oh my gosh, it’s the day before the concert!!! Good thing everything it’s organized (except bullies but, you already knew that). Lynya asked me earlier today if I could sponsor couple of people. Lynya also got 8 news to come film the others and me (her mom is the head of 8 news).
    “I got Taco hut, Mario’s pizza, and Reamer’s surf shop to sponsor, if you want…. And Lil my Mom said 8 news would film at the school plus an interview.” Lynya smiled. “Sure why not ….. Did JME Co. Sponsor?” I said nervously. “Duh……they said……. of course….. Why not.” Lynya faded away a bit.
    My friends are the coolest. They have done so much, me to make my dreams come true for them at the end of this. Everyone will be there (my Mom, Dad, Kaylee, RyRy, Cinya, and everyone else) including Lianna + her friends just to make fun of me. But, I don’t care if she comes I’m just going to do my best.
    
    Chapter 6: Dread all over

    Here I am, on the stage to setup. People are buying the food & drinks like crazy. My brother, RyRy is stuffing his mouth with popcorn nervously. He says he will steal my new computer if I don’t give him & his friends a good show (don‘t ask why).
