• Hand-to-hand combat begins as I am clashing with the eight footmen. With Crystal Cheung assisting me with buffs, heals, and even long-ranged attacks herself, I was able to subdue the men harassing both of us. Now, with the men already dead, it's just a simple stand-off between me and Ryu Kuronagi since Crystal was backing me up now that I've saved her.

    [the battle begins. The first footman charges at me, but I was able to counterattack, with the second running up to me only to be stopped by Crystal's lighting strike. With the first wounded, I impaled the second as Crystal buffed me with rock armor. The first slashed me on the right side of my abdomen]

    Me: Damn you!

    [sword fight between me and the first footman, with results in me exhausting him out with strong blows and impaling him in the stomach before slashing his throat. The third and fourth footmen came after me, but I was able to defend long enough for Crystal to use Fire Blast at RR4; I was almost in the blast radius, but the fourth got up only to be impaled in the chest. Crystal heals me with wish]

    Me: [to Crystal] Thank you.

    [the last four came after me. The fifth swung but missed and I was able to impale the sixth in the stomach killing him. I had to get up and slashed the fifth one across the throat, but the seventh mortally wounded me in the stomach by impaling me in the stomach half way. Luckily, I struck him hard, though he defended. The eighth one behind me tries to attack Crystal, but is stopped by her Solar Rays]

    Me: [to Crystal] Hey, a little help here!

    Crystal Cheung: [wish ring] I can use some help also!

    [the eighth footmen dashes at me and tries to drive his sword through me, but I dodged, making him impale his own comrade by mistake. Crystal stuns him with a lightning strike and I was able to finish him off by slitting his throat off]

    Me: [groaning in pain]

    Crystal Cheung: Are you alright? [improbability sphere and diagnose]

    Me: Yep, kind of.

    Ryu Kuronagi: So... you've managed to slaughter all of my men, huh? Well, no worries... you may be impressive with your combat skills, but are you able to defeat me in combat?

    Me: Come on, you don't have any men with you. The rest are probably back with Crassus or something.

    Ryu Kuronagi: There's other troops standing around here in Rougeport, but I don't have time for this! I'll finish both of you off! [pulls out his sword]

    Me: Bring it on!

    [combat begins. Ryu was able to pull off some of his powerful blows, but I was able to defend myself long enough for Crystal Cheung to build up her rage and unleash Solar Rays at RR4]

    Ryu Kuronagi: [briefly stunned] Ouch! Damn you, child!

    Crystal Cheung: [fire blast]

    Me: [tries to impale Ryu through, but successfully parries and kicks me back]

    Ryu Kuronagi: You think you have the upper hand at beating me, huh? Allow me to demonstrate! [pulls out his gun and tries to shoot me, but Crystal Cheung buffs me with pot lid, reflecting the attack back at him] Dammit, a pot lid!

    Me: [lands a colossal blow with hack, severely wounding him in the left hip]

    Ryu Kuronagi: [attempts a counterattack with a few blows, but Crystal Cheung uses fire blast and lightning strike]

    Me: [healing halo]

    Crystal Cheung: [uses wish to heal me]

    Ryu Kuronagi: [gets up, breathing heavily] You are a strong one.

    Me: Do you surrender now?

    Ryu Kuronagi: NEVER! You win this round, young Dave, but you won't have the upper hand the next time I see you, even without my comrades! Remember this, I WILL GET MY REVENGE!!!!!! [mortally wounded, he retreats to the ruined town of Rougeport and disappears]
