• She sat on the freezing hard cement floor shivering and curled up into a ball trying to ease something besides the frigid temperature. The cold seeping in the broken window was nothing compared to the pain she felt from losing her family. Annette got up from her security meditation, which now that she stopped, the hopelessness was starting to take over her body again. Adjusting to the reawakened despair in her heart, she started walking towards the door and her attention was caught by a filthy looking blonde with gorgeous green eyes that could have easily dazzled any man. “What a mess that woman is, and she would be so beautiful if she cleaned up a bit.” Thought Annette. Suddenly Annette realized she was in front of the window and it wasn’t a poor beggar woman in rags like she had thought, but it was really herself. “NOO, THIS CAN’T BE ME!!” She screamed and with a rock on the ground, she smashed the window and ran out of the nearby door, with her long hair dancing crazily after her.
