• Chapter 3
    The meeting in a clearing
Before I say anything else I have to make one thing clear, when you know your spirit you are able to turn into that creature, that’s how we escaped. I told you before that Pebble was a Roc. He changed into his spirit form but because there were nine of us I also changed into a Roc to make the load lighter. That is one of the abilities of a hybrid, if they have the tiniest part of the type of a creatures spirit they only have to will the change and it will happen just like any other spirited person, also if they have been around a type of spirit they will take a tiny sliver of their spirit, not enough to affect there transformation. So now we were in the skies and unfortunately one of Fang’s pack was a hawk and a ruler of the skies. We had to find an open area where no non-spirited people would be hurt by a battle. We found one, a fair distance away from any human populace. We fly over great lengths in a short time so when the other pack arrived we were all morphed out and Pebble was out getting Twilight and Streak from the elementary school. They were morphed out too and I revised how many their were and how many assorted creatures there were in the pack, and many fierce looking dogs like pit bulls and such dogs, it looked like, only the hawk, Fang, and Cat were the only creatures not dogs. The spirited form I morphed into is a russet dire wolf one of those with huge claws and bigger fangs and the body twice the size of a regular wolf. At this time Fang stepped forward and said in a growling version of his childish voice “ We have come for revenge on the pain you caused my heart.” He started to giggle when he saw me tensing, muscles tightening under the thick pelt. I howled the charm, “Fangs of darkness and light, Claws of death and life!”
