What defines a 'Hero' I ask you? Is it the strenghth of Hercules? Is it the loyalty of the king of knights? Is it the unwavering spirit of Cu Chulainn? Is it the honor of Liu Bei? The vigor of Siegfreid? The recklessness of Sinbad? The power of Super Man? Or maybe it is somthing different.... It is true that all of those stated are classified as heroes, but why? What connects them? Certainly it is not simply their will to do good... and most definatly is it not their passion to save people. All heroes are different, but what exactly puts them in a field of similarity to where they can all be noticed and recognized as heroes. The truth of the matter is fame. Surely not all heroes were so ritous as super man, but surely many heroes are more recognized than super man. For fact to be, if heroes were to exist they would still be human, would they not? Selflessness is often associated but not demanded for one to be a hero. If the outcome is favorable, then the one is a hero and that is it. If their struggle is entertaining then they were a hero. If the situation called for their lives to be in danger then they were, as I reapeat... a hero. That is where a hero defers from such beings as super man, for such unrealistic beings are in their own catagory as super heroes. Surley the rough and almighty king of heroes Gilgamesh was not so virtuous. Heroes are beings given a chance by a higher power or a higher situation and they make some sort of change in that situation. Hercules so brave with god-like strenghth did not choose to be a hero, but he was remembered as one in the end anyway, He who is one of the most famous of heroes was forced to be remembered as a hero by the hate for him from the godess Hera.
I repeat such a question again. What is a hero? What do all considered a hero have in common. It is fame, as stated, but why is it fame? What gives them such fame? Why do people treasure their stories as famous. That is the quest of this story, a rightful definition will be found, fore that is the goal of one such as I. One is about to set out on a jouney, and my watchful, omniceint eternal, eyes will follow an individual into the chaos of heroism. It is the perfect time, as something has distorted the worlds flow of time and unreality is flowing into the present in secret... That is to say that there is a crack in a specific place in the walls of this era. That crack is at an exact place where as it has pushed heroes from all time periods and all eras into existence, even if perhaps that hero only existed in the imagination of man. Scattered throught the world in their respected origins and returning somehow to some form of life, that is what unrealistically has occured. The first destination of our trip is in Greece. The most prominent hero from every major country in the world has spawned refuge for a single hero from their culture. We will let you make an educated guess on whom the most prominent hero of greece is, and in doing so... We will begin our story... Our specimen is a teenage boy, as is in most cases of the learning process, whom is on a field trip with his class from America to study the culture of Greece. Let us learn and make hypothesis on this matter as THE STORY BEGINS!!!!!
