Pff, this is what hanging around Fandom Rants will do to me. Hooray for getting curious about a Nickelodeon fandom that was getting so many rants (compared to DP, FOP, and a bunch of other shows on the same channel). I just checkd again today and found an Inuyasha crossover too.

Considering the fact that the show is made for 6-11 year olds (although it does have shirtless boys, death, psycho-sociopaths, and etc.), the WTF'kery is just very... WTFish.



RANTS- about the WTF'kery.

I'm honestly surprised by that fandom. It's not just the in-lawcest thing either (although it was a first).

You'd think that a show that developed (with super giant plotlines and etc) would have fewer Sues, Drop Ins, and musicals. Of course, Harry Potter had super giant plotlines too...

Let's start with Mary Sues then! heart
Dude, the role of 'girl from Zuko's past' is taken by Mai. Try to stop using it so much.
Another thing, if someone falls from the sky chances are s/he won't live very long afterwards. The ground is very, very, very hard. No matter how powerful a Sue is, she still has to remember that spinal cords are capable of breaking.
*sigh* People, there's only going to be one avatar at any time. Somebody has to die first. neutral .


Now, *insert cheesy show tunes* heeeeeeeeere's the section on summaries!
Stop contributing to shipwars in your summary (that goes to ALL of you). No saying things like "Pairing A SUCKS!", "Pairing B bashing here!", or "Pairing XYZ is stoopid! Hisses at Pairing XYZ!". Save that for journals (like this one 3nodding ) or you fanfiction.net profiles.

Crossovers
They're often very hard to do. But if an author tries hard enough, s/he may be able to write a good crossover.
However, replacing the characters with different characters w/o even changing the lines is just plain lazy. There is absolutely NO talent involved in writing a story like that. NONE. The supemphasis (L00k! A bad portmanteau!) is there for a reason btw.
