Today's Entry Is About Amber,
Because I Think She Deserves To Be Mentioned.

A Couple Weeks After Azzi Had Been Killed,
A New Dog Named Amber Arrived. She Was The Exact Opposite Of Him.
She Was White, Not Black.
She Was Very Shy, Not Energetic.
She Was Picked Up From A Neglectful Home, Not A Stray.
She Was Adopted, Not Cremated.

But I Saw Her After He Had Died,
Ever Look A Sad, Frightened Dog In The Eye?
I Made An Effort To Be With Her, Even If It Was Me Sitting Outside Her Cage For An Hour, She Began To Trust Me.

I Can Pet Her, I Can Hug Her, I Can Sit With Her...
She Won't Bark At Me, Or Cower From Me, She Just licks My Hands And
Hangs Out When I'm Not Busy.
Today I Sat with Her For The Last Time.
She Is Being Filed For Adoption.
This Time, To A Good Home.
She Won't Die.
They Cannot Kill Her.
I Am Happy.

Something Very Strange Happened Today, As Well.
I Try To Make Time To Visit Azzi's Grave Every Day
I Went There, And Sat By The Grave.
It Started To Rain Out Of The Blue And Then I Noticed The
Doggy Treats I Had Set By His Grave (Instead Of Flowers, He Loved The Things And I Have No Flowers.) Were Gone, And I Heard Panting. I Looked Around To See If There Was Any Dogs Nearby. There Were None Anywhere, Not Even At The Construction Yard. I Ran And Told The Lady (I Still Don't Know Her Name) That I Heard Panting By Azzi's Grave, She Said 'Sometimes, They Say Dogs Remember Their Owners'. She Nodded And Asked Me To Help Do Stock.I Was A Little Afraid, But I'm Happy, Too.

I've Decided To Call Haru 'Cold Aqua Tomato' If You Abbreviate That, It's "Cat"!
