My thoughts...
Here is somethig from 9/11...

Two Towers, one Story

September 11th, what a terrible day;
I fear the feeling will never go away;
Right on the plan loved ones were calling;
To tell thier families they were falling;
With a loud boom the phones went dead;
The plane had crashed into tower two's head;
In less then a minute, out heroes responded;
Not knowing if it had been an accident or plotted;
Not long after tower two's assault;
Tower one was attacked with teh same result;
People now sceamed to what they had seen;
People jumped, choosing their own destiny.

Fire engulfed teh two towers alike;
Firemen came with their lights flashing bright;
Police, paramedics although filled with fright;
People on the street joined in the desperate fight;
They all came to ground zero, and summoned their might.

Although faith renewed in a city torn asunder;
Tower two came down like a bolt of thunder;
People were horrified to what they could see;
Tower one caming down like a lumberjack's tree;
The towers now down, the dust didn't clear;
It lasted some time, but it seemed like a year;
People were dead, thousands without life;
It seems for a moment evil had won the fight.

Do not grieve our heroes wothout fear;
Dea or alive their spirit still linger here.

This was one of my first works, not one of my best but i figured it was time to put it up here...as a reminder i should never forget.

that was nice. it took me back to that day. i was in school and didnt even care what a 'trade center' was as my friend came hunted me down at break were we go to the other classes. she grabed my arm and all but screams that the trade center's been bombed. i didnt belive her till i went to the next class and sat down. it was five mintues before the class next to us..the teacher came and called us all to come to his room were he had the tv. we watched everything...i felt so alone...more alone that i normaly do in class..it was like out side of my self.

That was a good poem. I remember that day, when I was in third grade. I saw my mom had turned on the news and said strange things of airplanes, buildings, and terrorists.
