I'm SOOO bored. WoW content's old, new content won't be released for another 5 months. D3 is coming out in 2 days, but that's not soon enough. Anyways, I've got an exam on the launch date for that game and the following day I'll be spending moving. I still donno if I want to get D3, it's implementing that same bullshit skill system that Blizzard pulled out of its a** to replace talent trees and please casuals. More reason for me to want to switch to Rift.

When I get back to Buffalo I'll probably be paying my mother to upgrade the damn internet, Going from 11MB/s per machine to 120KB/s for the entire household is going to murder my world and any chance for me to enjoy any gaming and therefore any of my time not spent at work for the entire Summer.

I'll probably resubscribe to Rift again, that game's still good and unlike Blizzard isn't going to stab their loyal subscribers in the eyes. If I'm going to enjoy Rift I'm going to spend my spare money on a new Graphics card.

SO, here's the choice of the week:
Buy a new VGA and play Rift, or Buy D3 and pay more of my limited spare money to Blizzard.

I donno.

A good VGA's going to cost me 140$. D3 costs 66$.
I don't need a VGA to actually play Rift, I just need a VGA to enjoy Rift. I need the D3 game code to play D3.

Buying a new VGA is a worthwhile longterm investment in my entertainment, while buying D3 will only be amusing for 2 weeks because Blizzard SHAT out that game with some new CASUAL CRUSADE CRAP MECHANICS, and the money's going to a company that's biting the players that feed it, and will die doing so.

I don't know anybody who plays Rift, while pretty much everyone I relate to in life will be playing D3.

Decision's a b***h.


In all likelihood I'll be bored out of my mind tomorrow night, and I'll buy the damn virtual copy of D3.
