This is merely an update of the previous entry. Now it'll be more focused on Ruka's family since I didn't say much about them.

Her father, Fei Wong-hails from the Fire nation.An expert craftsmen who specializes in making jewelry, especially crystal figures using the knowledge passed down his family. He met Ruka's mother, Ayame, at one of her piano recitals when the city council decided to give her a jeweled necklace they asked him to make especially for her. He's a very calm man and is very dedicated to his family. He isn't the type to crave luxury, which is something Ayame loves about his character. He's also a skilled swordsman and tried to pass this down to both of his children, though only Ruka seemed interested in the lessons. When Ruka was 4 years old, he and Ayame decided to give her a crystal dragon made by him as a way of showing her their love of her and to satiate her interest in dragons. She still has it to the present day.

Her mother. Ayame-Hails from the Northern Water tribe and among the family, it's rumored that Ruka is blessed by Yue because of her silver hair. Ayame comes from a long line of musicians who are well-known and adept at different instruments, though she specializes at the piano. She's very famous for her playing, does recitals and occasionally plays for vocalists and theater shows. She's kind and cares about her loved ones. She's protective of the kids and deeply in love with Fei Wong. She was willing to leave behind her life of luxury and riches just to be with him. She dies when Ruka was a small child after she was sadistically attacked by a man and left for dead.

Her older brother, Torotaro-5 years older than Ruka, he could be considered a dumb muscle guy, but he's very clever. One of his favorite things to do was pick on his young sister, though it was always in good fun. Fei Wong tried to instill in him the interest in swordsmanship, but Torotaro preferred using his fire-bending skills. He knew his sister was more gifted at it than he was, but he never felt jealous at all. Instead, he would make her work harder to perfect her skills. Their mother taught them how to play a few instruments and his favorite instrument was always the shamisen. Ever since Ruka was born, he was told to protect her from the evils of the world and with this responsibility put upon him, he enjoyed it enough that he desired to some day do the same for the rest of the community.As he got older, Fei Wong had him start working in the jewelry store. After his mother's murder and Ruka's slow withdrawal, he became extremely concerned over her well-being. Eventually, after an argument between the three of them that ended with Ruka cutting her long silver hair, dying it black while leaving the bangs silver and her departure with only her sword, he has been trying to find her and get her to return home with no success.
