The Castle
"What in the world is this place?"
Rixa and her serpent had followed Sora and his friends to a new world.They had arrived at a magnificent castle, but she had lost track of them.She felt awkward being there.
"This place is big...Beautiful, yes, but how am I supposed to find them now?"
Rixa and the serpent began to walk around the castle, observing everything and studying it to the tiniest detail.They reached an area that was a garden, filled with the most beautiful flowers Rixa had ever seen.She picked one up and crushed it in her hand, letting the remains fall to the ground.The serpent hissed as it caught the scent of Sora and slittered off, away from Rixa.She followed close behind it, knowing that it would have better luck in finding Sora that she ever would.Passing through a large door, they arrived at a long hallway.It slittered, following Sora's scent.
"So you're Sora?", an unknown voice said, "You must be the keyblade master then."
"That's right, Queen Minnie.We're here because it was the closest place we could get to.", Goofy said.
"It's nice to meet you.Though, are you the only one here, Your Highness?", Sora asked.
"No.Daisy is here too.Donald, you should go see her.She's been wanting to talk to you."
"Daisy?Oh no!", Donald yelled as he ran down the hallway, "I'm coming, Daisy!"
The rest of the group laughed and followed Donald.Rixa and the serpent were left alone again in the hallway.Rixa snickered, enjoying Donald's facial expression.She walked back into the garden and sat down on a patch of grass.The serpent coiled itself around her and closed its eyes, hissing softly.Rixa pet its head while it hissed and looked up at the sky.Her head suddenly throbbed and a memory came flooding back into her mind.Images of a castle played, people talking with each other and a girl running down the hall.She giggled as she ran, chased by some cooks.
"Come back here!'
"Catch me if you can!!!"
Rixa came back to reality and shrugged her head.
"Just a memory...Axel, I miss you so much..."
Her thoughts returned to Riku and to that day when he had kissed her for the first time.She always blushed whenever she thought about it, try as she might not to.She wondered what he was doing at that very moment and if he ever would return to his true form.Ansem didn't scare her at all, but she adored staring right into Riku's aqua-green eyes.She sighed when the image of Riku's transformation into Ansem replayed in her head and she blocked it from her mind.She knew it was necessary, but it would always bother her.
"Roxas...you never should have suffered through all that.I hope you're okay, wherever you are."
The sepent lifted its head and hissed, sensing someone approaching.Rixa stood up and hid behind a tree, careful not to be seen.She watched as Sora, Goofy and Donald headed down a flight of stairs nearby and disappeared.She realized that they were leaving and that she needed to report to DiZ and Riku how Sora was doing.She smiled a little and opened a portal, signaling to the serpent to return to it's domain.It hissed and dematerialized, leaving Rixa alone.Before she entered the portal, she gave one last look at the majestic castle before her and glared at it.Something inside her hated looking at it and she knew it.
"Farewell..."
