Utopian Mirage
Hibernation is over,
You come alive in my arms,
Ready today,
For whatever may come.
My temporary death ends abruptly,
As I look into your eyes,
Knowing my happiness,
Can know no demise.

The clock keeps ticking and the times passes by,
But we, we're happy here.
In this as all others see it, a utopian mirage,
We know what we're seeing,
And this is real.

Walk the paths of life,
With your hand in mine,
Ready forever,
To forever stop time.
Stray down the road,
That no one else knows,
But I'll take you there,
And I'll show you home.

Imagine paradise,
Now imagine something more,
Picture something better,
That you've never seen before.
Think of all the love,
This world could ever give,
All of that is nothing,
It's because of you I live.

Paint a portrait of perfection,
Then throw it right away,
Beautiful, though it may be,
It holds nothing to this place,
Because in your arms is Heaven,
The world just disappears,
You know I'll hold you close forever,
I'll hold you tight through all your tears...

How much it is you really mean to me,
Then I'm sure you'd recall,
Every single little thing,
That we've said and done,
The times we thought this should be gone,
But never were we able,
To really let this go.

That I can't just sit back and watch you go,
It all seemed so simple before,
But now I know that I can't be without you by my side.
