Well, if you have been reading my journal which you most likely would have if you are reading this, I have been quite annoyed with Nintendo and Blizzards failness lately.
With my next-gen counsole and favorite computer game company out of the picture, were do I go with my life?
Well, cause I'm obviously a lifeless emotionless geek who is even more of an empty shell without electronic entertainment, I had to come up with something. After all, I need a direction to go in with videogames.
My solution?
Simple.
Buy a P.S.3.
My whole (discovered) life I have been a Sony fan. I was quite disappointed when they first released ps3, because the price was way beyond my wildest dreams. I needed a next gen, and because of how cheap my parents are I needed to go with something cheap, and family appealing. None other than the Wii.
Now that next gen prices have began thier competitive decline (except for Wii) people are buying the Xbox 360. It even passed my mind once.
What do I say about that?
Dumbasses.
The 80 gigabyte PS3 priced new is now only 400$. This would typicly be like twice my maximum consideration price, but when your stuck in a virtual world corner and things have never been better, 400$ is looking damn friendly. With no parental support this will be one hell of a buy, but doing the math if I saved every dollar I recieve I should have one by the end of the school year.
I wish I knew were around my TV I would stick it, And how practical riding home on a bike down transit with one will be.
Additionally, those games still are freakin expensive in my mind.
Oh well, I can manage.
Why else is a PS3 considerable?
Well, they are fairly backwards compatible, or at least my target model. Only a couple glitches on the american games, insomniacs Ratchet & clank in perticular. Most of my favorites are like everything else I like, Japanese. Funny how the foriegn games work better on an american system then american games. Do not believe what others say about the compatibility, it is different for the model and game, you can find listings on Sony's support page.
Aside from the drop in price and necesity, I maybe just maybe can use the blu-ray feature as parental leverage. But I would rather not, because they would only like pay half the tax, and then say because I didn't buy it my sister could have full privledges to it (she'd cry if she didn't), the PS3 would not be in my room because of that fact, etc. They will probably pull that crap anyway saying that they pay the electric bill. Screw that. It will be all the more rewarding buying it myself.
Wonder which overpriced game to get first? whee
