The next day when they wake up, Death realizes that there is no food in the house.
"Sorry man, I thought my mom hanged out here every once in a while, I didn't think she abandonded everything"said Death.
"Don't worry man, I got some cash, we'll go to McDonalds, when I'm done stretching"said Hades as he is in the middle of touching his head to his knees.
"Whoa, when did you learn to do that"asked Death watching Hades.
"I've been doing this everyday since I was 17"replied Hades.
After about thirty minutes of stretching, Hades gets his stuff together and they walk to McDonalds.
"Aww man Dana isin't working"said Hades sarcastically.
"Idiot of course she isin't working, she hasin't worked here in, what, 10 years"said Death.
"No s**t"replied Hades. After eating their breakfast and returning to Death's basement, Death askes "So, what do we do now"
"Right now, well I don't know about you but I gotta go see somebody tonight"said Hades as he stands up."Have you gotten bigger"
"No, why?, or at least I don't think so"replied Death. Hades positions himself into his most common fighting stance which looks similar to a lazy boxing stance.
"I wanna see how good you've gotten ove the years"said Hades
"No, I'm not fighting you"replied Death
"What do you got to lose, your dead, or at least, were dead, so you can't die again"said Hades
"Because your better then me"said Death, kicking Hades in the stomach the instant he finishes his sentence. Hades is sent into the cement wall cracking it.
"Aw man, I hit my head on the one"said Hades getting up holding his head with both hands. Death looking like he is gaining more confidence, gets into his fighting position which looks more like a pose.
"Hey, you asked for it"said Death. Hades shakes off the pain from his head and repositions himself in his stance. Hades gives a good jab to Death. Besides Death's head snapping back he is completley unaffected. After a few jabs Hades goes for one big punch, but Death ducks it, kicking Hades in the stomach, double axe handles (Two handed punch with one hand held over the other) him in the back, then throws him into the cement wall again. Death lets Hades get back up. Hades gets up looking a little groggy.
They fight until it becomes noticeably dark outside. Hades looks really tired and dirty probably from flying into the cement wall to many times and Death looks almost untouched except for a few bruises on his hands, probably from punching the cement wall too much.
"Man, I need a drink"said Hades slowly drifting upstairs.
"I only have water and there's no glasses"said Death following him.
"Fine by me"replied Hades. They drink almost what looks like two gallons of water.
"K, lets go"said Hades walking into the hallway.
"K, hold on, I've been wanting to wear these the next time I was on leave"said Death going to the closet in the hallway, pulling out some brand new military boots that look somewhat modified.
"Nice man"said Hades lacing up his knee high boots.
"Ya man, steel plated"said Death lacing his up. Hades goes out to his car
"We need to go see Frost, he can help us look for Bryan"said Hades.
"How hard can it be, he hasint changed since we used to be friends with him"said Death following Hades out the door to the car.
"I know, but Frost can tell us everything we need to know"said Hades getting in the car. "Yo, whats that joke you used to always say about Bryan, about the grabage can and the house" as Death gets into the car.
"Oh, you mean. Were does he live, well you see that garbage can, ya, ya, the house behind that"said Death giggling, Hades bursts out laughing as they make their way out of the small project. They quickly reach another small project they could have easily gotten to by walking.
"So, who's this Frost dude"asked Death
"You know him better as Jason Gilligan"said Hades
"Jason, why we going to see him"asked Death as Hades parks the car.
"I told you, he can tell us what we want to know, he's a good hacker when he wants to be"explained Hades. They both get out of the car and walk down a small path, they pass four houses before Hades realizes that they arent getting anywere near the fifth and final hous of the row.
"Dude hold up"said Hades
"What"asked Death impatiently.
"We've been walking for ten minutes yet we havint reached the end of the row"explained Hades. A mist suddenly starts to form along the path, Hades and Death continue to walk until Death realizes his feet are beginning to freeze.
"Dude, a little help"asked Death. Hades turns around and notices that Death's feet are frozen and that the ice is slowly moving up Death's body.
"Don't worry I got ya"said Hades, as Hades goes to help Death, he realizes his feet are beginning the freeze. Hades easily sets himself on fire and melts the ice, while Death attempts to power his way threw the ice by punching it.
"K, now I will help you"said Hades as he puts his hands on the ice surrounding Death.
"Hey you"wispered a voice. Hades turns around is hit in the chest by a ball of blue energy and is sent ten feet. Hades quickly ninja flips up and draws his Desert Eagles, noticing Death is completley engulfed in ice. Hades slowly moves up to Death's body to help him out but is stopped by the sound of a sword being drawn. Hades turns around to see a man in full midevil body armor lunge with a sword at him. Hades manages to step aside, the man's sword digging into the ice covering Death. Hades just quickly fires I shot into the bend in the mans arm. The man stands there motionless, the mist suddenly disappears and Death breaks out of the ice.
The man slowly fades away into nothing.
"What the ******** Death in astonishment.
"I get it, its him"said Hades
"Who?"asked Death
"My brother, he liks to mess with us, and that would explain te freezing, the reason that guy faded away and why we can't get to that house over there"explained Hades pointing to a house in the distance. Suddenly Death is electricuted and passes out, revealing a tall man in a silver cloak holding a staff with a Z on it.
"I knew it was you, you can't fool me Zeus"said Hades "What the ******** do you think your doing man"
"Just having some fun"said Zeus
"I don't have time for this s**t"said Hades holsterig his guns and walking passes Zeus, but Zeus grabs Hades by the arm beginning to electricute him. Hades drops to one knee.
"******** OFF MAN"yelled Hades as he grabs the arm that Zeus is using to grab his, and twist it away from himself making Zeus flip onto his back. Zeus gets up and throws back his cloak, revealing gold colored body armor, blue pants, sliver boots and blue/silver wrist bands. Zeus had long white hair and a distinctive scar that ran down across his eye.
"I see you've gotten better, but your not better then me"said Zeus with a grin.
"I've always been better then you, I've just never like fighting as much as you did"replied Hades
"Well now's your time to show it, if you can beat me, beat me now"said Zeus as the top of his staff opened up and Zeus launched a ball of blue energy at Hades. Hades spun around the ball of energy drawing his guns, but Zeus using the other end of his staff, the sharp end, cut Hades's guns in half. Zeus plam strikes(punching someone with palms open) Hades in the chest shocking him, sending Hades thirty feet. Hades ninja flips up to have Zeus less then three feet in front of him.
"Give up yet"asked Zeus
"If only"replied Hades. Hades looks over to Death noticing a large sharp piece of ice lying near him. Hades positions himself in his fighting stance and beacons Zeus to charge at him.
"Round two"asked Zeus
"Something like that"replied Hades. Zeus take a step, but is hit in the back of the knee by the large sharp piece of ice and falls. Hades quickly begins to torque and bend at the knee of Zeus. Zeus cries out in pain, but the first man reappears and quickly freezes Hades, picks up Zeus and they both disappear.
