There lie Adam......dead. Killed for no apparent reason by his childhood friend Bryan. Now here is were it gets tricky. For an unexplained reason, instead of Adam dieing something else happened.

Almost all in one motion, Adam suddenly awakes, sits up all while yelling in fury. While this happenes there is a huge explotion and everything is set ablaze. Then the blaze subsides as fast as it began and Adam passes out again.

Sounds of a siren can be heard as an ambulance pulls up to a the hospital.
"What's his situation" askes the awaiting doctor
"He was found unconscience in the highway explotion" replies the paramedic
"Vitals" askes the doctor
"Heart rate 155 over 80 he has a body temperature of........wait a minute, that can't be right" protests the paramedic
"What, whats wrong" askes the doctor impatiently
"He should be dead, its impossible, no one....."
"What" yells the doctor
"It says he has a body temperature of 185 F, his body should be melting" explained the paramedic astonished
"Lets get him into the ER first then we will see" says the doctor.
After many many surgeries Adam's body finally stabalizes itself and he was moved to observation.
"So who is he anways"askes the nurse
"His name is Adam Corrigan and according to his drivers license he's 28" replied the doctor. The intercome sounds over the hospital, "All personnel involved in the highway explotion recovery please report for a short meeting in the staff room in 10 minutes"

Later in the staff room, when everyone has assembled.
"How is this man still alive" protested the paramedic "He had a body temperature of 185 F when he arrived at the hospital 2 days ago"
"He has severe brain damage" said the doctor "torn ACL, fractured knee cap and a multitude of other injuries"
"When I arrived on scene he looked like someone went apeshit on his face with a bat" said the paramedic
"I'll admit, he was a mess when we got a hold of him" said one of the surgeons
"What I want to know is how he was the sole survivor of the explotion" said a man in a black suit unnoticably sitting in the corner. "What we at the bureau of investigations would like to know is why he was in the exact middle of a 2 km explotion"
"I called you all her because we at the bureau of investigations are taking charge of this man so all information pertaining to this man is to be reported to us first, and when this man awakes I am to be the first to talk to him" said the man "That is all"

Three days pass before Adam finally awakes.
"He's awake, come quick" said the nurse trying to lead the doctor to what seems to be Adam's room.
"How are we feeling today Adam" asked the Doctor
"Like s**t" replied Adam "Excuse my language but I'm not in the most pleasent of moods"
"I would think not after what your chart says" replied the Doctor
"What does it say" asked Adam as he sits up
"Well let's see, third degree concussion, multiple skull fractures, broken nose, torn ACL, fractured knee cap, broken wrist, two broken fingers aaaaaaannnnnnnnndddddd thats it" said the doctor
"Nice" replied Adam
"Unfortunatley the authorities want to talk to you" said the doctor. the doctor walks over to the door letting to men in black suits in, then leaves with the nurse.
"Man you look like hell" said the first man almost as if by accident.
"Hello Adam, I..."
"Your Agent Hilk and he's Agent Clarkson, I know you told me" interrupted Adam.
"But we didnt" replied Clarkson
"Oh, sorry, I dont know how I knew that then" Adam said apologetically "I would shake your hand if I had a hand to shake with"
Both men chuckle for a moment while giving each other a look of intruige.
"You wanna tell us what happened" asked Agent Hilk
"Its a little blurry but all try" replied Adam
"Take your time, there's no rush" said Agent Hilk as he and his partner take out notepads.
"I remember I was on my way to work, I...I stopped on the side of the road for some reason. Uh...uh, a man, I stopped cause a man had some car trouble, I can't remember what it was, but I went to go see under the hood, and I was hit with something, I think it was a bat or a pipe or something. Then everythings a blurr" as Adam wa finishing his sentence his hand burst into flame.
"Whoa, what the ********" yelled Adam astonished, at the same time the flame goes out leaving his cast on fire.
"FIRE, FIRE" Adam yells out. Almost instantly Agent Hilk runs out and comes back with a fire extinguisher and puts out the fire.
"What the hell just happened" said Agent Clarkson rapidley looking shocked.
"Calm down, it was probably a electrical problem wih the monitor wires"replied Agent Hilk cooly "Are you alright"
"Ya, I'm fine that was just freaky" replied Adam
"We will let you rest, we will come back later so you can finish your statment" said Hilk as he and his partner leave.
The next day the nurse arrives to do her daily check up on Adam.
"You gave us such a scare yesterday" said the nurse calmly
"Hey, what can you say, I'm God" said Adam sarcastically
"Sure you are, now come one, we need to run a few tests on you, to check your progress"said the nurse as she helps Adam into a wheelchair she brough with her.
"So what's first" Adam asks as they leave his room
"First a CAT scan, then some X-rays, then we will finish with looking at that knee of yours" replied the nurse. After about 4-6 hourse of scans and pictures they finally return Adam to his room.
"Now, you get your rest, you need it" said the nurse as she leaves
"Enh" Adam replied after the nurse left.
"Aw crap my headphone are on the floor" Adam proclaimed as he attempts to reach them from his bed. "Just....a little... further" Adam groans, eventually giving up. "Man, if I had the force I would be set" said Adam making a hand jesture that would be mimicing him reaching for the head phone with his mind. After about a few seconds of trying the headphones launch from the ground to Adams hands."What the ********" Adam said in a sort of confusion.
Elsewere the doctors review the results of Adams tests earlier that day. They all seem to have the same astonished look on their face.
"How can this be"said one of the doctors "All his brain trauma, and cerebrial burising have practically diappeared. His brain tissue has acctually increased by 30%"
"His fractured knee cap has already healed, and the bone in his face are actually shifting back into their original positions" said the bone specialist.
"At this rate, he will be fully recovered in a few days" said the doctor.
"And after yesterdays incident, the only thing damaged was Adams cast, and nothing else"said the nurse "I will get him scheduled for physio-therapy in a few days" said the nurse and the rest of the doctors leave.
While the doctors were in their meeting Adam was still in hs room testing his new ability. Learning to control most of the items he moved. The only drawback to his newfound abilities was that he would sucome to massive headaches, but Adam assoicated them with his injuries.

The next day Adam was scheduled for physio-therapy, also during his session Agent Hilk and Agent Clarkson returned.
"How is he doing" asked Agent Hilk to the nurse who was sitting by the doorway observing Adam.
"Amazing, just fantastic" replied the nurse
"Interesting" replied Agent Clarkson
" See, normally it would take months and months for somebody to recover from these injuries" explained the nurse "But its only been three days and Adams almost fully recovered"
"So it wouldn't bother you if we asked him a few questions, would you ?" asked Agent Clarkson
"Yes it would, you can wait until his session is over" replied the nurse with a scowl. After about thirty minutes Adam hobbles back to the nurse and sits down.
"The therapist wants to talk to you" Adam said to the nurse.
"Ok.... you remember Agent Hilk and Agent Clarkson" asked the nurse knowing Adam knew.
"Ya I remember" replied Adam
"Well your free to roam the grounds now that you can walk, so while you talk to these men I will talk to the therapist" explained the nurse
"k, thanks" Adam said as he and the Agents leave. The nurse meets up with the therapist.
"Sorry to keep you waiting Lindsey" said the nurse
'Oh, no problem I don't have another patient for twenty minutes" replied Lindsey
" I wanted to tell you that Adam is one impressive patient, anyone with an ACL injury is usually out for at least six months, but he is already walking after only three days. Don't worry about scheduling another apointment , he doesn't need it" said Lindsey
Adam and the two Agents slowly made there way back to Adam's room.
"I though you were allowed to go anywere " asked Agent Hilk
"Ya, but there is nowere I want to go" replied Adam shrugging his shoulders.
"So, do you remember anything else" asked Agent Clarkson
"Ya, I remember being hit in the head by Bryan" said Adam
"Bryan ?" replied Agent Hilk
"Oh, sorry, Bryan Nault, he was a guy I knew as a kid" explained Adam
"That can't be, you must have remembered wrong" replied Officer Hilk
"Why ?" asked Adam
"Because Bryan Nault commited suicide 8 years ago" explained Agent Clarkson
"How ?" asked Adam intruiged
"He was on our list of top hackers in the world, and when we went to bust him, he punched out his computer screen havint it explode in his face, so you see, it couldn't have been him" explained Agent Hilk. All three men finally reached Adam's room.
"Well that's what I remember, whether you believe me or not is up to you" proclaimed Adam
"Besides that, what we want to know is why you were found in the middle of a 2 km explotion" asked Agent Clarkson
"What? what are you talking about?" Adam replied with one eyebrow raised.
"No one told you, anybody within a 2 km raidus of you was killed, burned alive" said Agent Hilk sternly
"Are you implying something" asked Adam getting up from his bed his eyes literally steaming red.
"Hey calm down" said Agent Clarkson. Adam blinked his eyes to look at Agent Clarkson and the steam stopped.
"Whoa, how did you do that" asked Agent Clarkson suprised
"Do what" asked Adam confused
"Your eyes were steaming" replied Agent Clarkson
"Ya, sure they were, who's making up stories now" Adam said sarcastically. The nurse walks in to see all three men facing each other.
"What's going on here" asked the nurse
"Nothing mam, we were just leaving" replied Agent Hilk as they leave.
"What was that all about" asked the nurse
'Nothing, they were just accusing me of murder" replied Adam angrily "What are you hear for" asked Adam
"I've been talking with the other doctors and they all think that, if tomorrow, you get re-exammed you might be able to go home" announced the nurse.
"Cool" replied Adam
The next day Adam decided to sleep in. It was just one of those times when you don't plan to sleep in but you just do.
"Time to go" the nurse proclaimed as she walks in turning on the lights. Adam says nothing but is obviously unsuccessfully trying to act like he is asleep.
"Let's go, your gonna be late" said the nurse
"Fine, fine you win all get up" Adam said as he sits up
"Whats wrong Adam, rought night" asked the nurse
'Ya, my whole face started hurting" replied Adam
"Well, we will see what the doctor has to say" said the nurse. Adam gets up and follows the nurse to the CAT scan room.
"Look at this, his brain is fully recovered, and his brain tissue has increased 64%, that's amazing" said the doctor in astonishment "In all my years, I've never seen someone recover so fast" wispered the doctor. Eventually Adam was sent to get X-rays.
"Your good to go" said the radiologist "You can go and get your cast removed and go home". Adam waited the half and hour to get his casts removed and got dressed in his blood stained cloths cause thats all he had with him, and went home.
The instant Adam got home he started to work on his new ability. He found he could pretty much do anything, like push butons, like when he did it for the button on his answering machine. Some of the messages included his work calling asking were he was, and the last one was he work saying he could have 2 weeks off. Adam spent most of his time off honning his skills, learning how to play video games without touching the controller.
One day while playing video games the doorbell rang.
"******** cops, go away" Adam mumbled walking to his front door. He opened it to find a military officer standing at the front door.
"Can I help you" asked Adam looking a little confused.
"Hello, I'm General Philenwhenez, I was in league with Corporal Jermaine Williams, I have the unfortunate job of informing you of his death in action.......I'm, I'm sorry" said Philenwhenez in a slow calm tone.
"When did he die" asked Adam
"To be perfectly honest....we don't know" said Philenwhenez 'We were shipped his body yesterday"
"How did he die" asked Adam
"I'm not allowed to disclose that information, his funeral will be in a week"said Philenwhenez. There is a slight pause, then the General leaves. Adam hesitates to close the door but eventually does. He collapses down in front of the door and bursts into tears. Eventually, his tears of sorrow turn into tears of rage. Adam eventually stands up and yells in rage, all of a sudden the he bursts into falme and there a huge explosion that levels the house and turns it to dust.
