Rainy Fair Day
Yesterday September 20, 2008 Sammi, My mom and I went to the the Puyallup Fair. It was raining, but i guess we wanted to have fun. . . i wanted to go on scary rides, and well my mom just wanted to walk around. Lemma skip like alot of stuff, um. . . -brain is processing- Oh, OK, after my mom let us go, she gave me 15 bucks, i looked at sam and she said she was full of it. When we were going to buy tickets to get on the ride, 20 for 15, i bought my tickets from some dude who by accident bought 40 tickets. thinking the other 20 were game tickets. Then Sammi bought her tickets, but when she took out her money it was in a huge clump. She told me she brought probably over a 100. My brain ticked, i choked. The first ride we took was some spinning thing that went upside down in this weird scary way. 6 tickets for each ride. Sammi and I got in the ride and the seatbelts or bodybelts were rather uncomfortable. It squeezed my thighs, then an extra cover, squeezed it even tighter. The ride was scary, but not fun. Instead of screaming i kept saying, ow, ow, ow, stop please, ow. . Then we went on a very colorful ride, it spun then went up high, then dropped suddenly, spinned faster, went up, then dropped again. But before we got on the ride i saw an old friend, or person. . . Guillard A.K.A Josh from CCA was there. He looked the same and had the same gray sweatshirt he always wore everyday to school. Josh was kicked out of the school for failing in every single class except spanish. He failed on purpose, the kid is extremely smart but he could careless. He failed because he thought Kenny was going to fail, but Kenny actually cares about his grades. 'Any body else with you?' he asked. I was about to say Sammi, but when i turned Sammi was trying to hide in a crowd of people searching for the line. No. Just me. I didn't say goodbye, but just walked away looking for Sammi. When we finally got on the ride, it was much comfortable. Head rest was snuggly, everything. These three teenage girls, two sat next to me while the other sat next to these three teenage boys. As the ride started, the higher we got, the louder and annoying the boy got as well. We were spinnning faster and faster, i was screaming and laughing. My hair was whipping around, i was wet from the rain falling right then. The girls were screaming, 'Lift up your legs!' giggling. Then there was a huge crash, and the ride fell down. 'WHOLY s**t!' The boy screamed. It was just the ride. Sammi and I sighed relieved. For a second something flashed before my eyes. The whole My life flashes before my eyes, thing. I can't recall what i saw. But it as beautiful. The one boy who yelled s**t, kept screaming, 'OH GOD! I'LL GIVE HIM BACK THE MONEY! I PROMISE!' His black friend was rather funny. 'Oh, damn!' he whispered. Mostly all the rides we took spun and went upside down, and left us feeling dizzy under our feet. As we passed and laughed, we only saw teenagers holding each others hands. I said it would be romantic to be on a ferris wheel with a boy, how pretty it was at night when the fair shined brightly. But we linked arms and ran around. One ride was the only ride that kept me laughing. The orbiter. It had so much pressure on you because of the speed of it spinning, gravity Sammi said. I was sliding squishing Sammi, i screamed and laughed. I couldn't breath, i was choking on laughter. Trying to push myself up, but gravity was to strong. I let my body squish Sammi while she kept yelling at me. We only had 4 tickets left so we decided to get rid of it by going to this baby fun house. We went through spider webs, when i yelled, Where's the spiders?! Then Sammi took interest in this pole that swung around. She was a fascinating pole dancer i must say. I ran ahead but when i stepped on something this clown face rang at me, i screamed. When we were done with riding, we walked around buying food. Cotten Candy left us hyper, a full meal left us full, then a rich fudge left us hyper again. But when i looked at the fudge and broke a peice of it i kind of shivered. It was just purely fudged, so i said to myself. It's just fudge. . . meaning i only saw and felt chocolate in a liquid substance. The cashier guy then said to me, 'What else it's made of?' Both Bree and I shot an almost dirty look at the guy. When we went away we saw a sunglasses stand. I questioned why would Sammi want sunglasses during the rainy season, she just said, 'We're just looking.' We were looking, but ended up buying sunglasses. Well, not really, they won't protect your eyes from the sun but cut everyone in half. Mines were hot pink with blue ends. Sammi was light pink. We giggled when we wore them. This is so going in my journal! i screamed. 'I'll be all over your journal then!' Sammi yelled back. Then we walked ahead laughing, and being dorky. Ignoring all the teenage couples and waving them off with the power of friendship.
-Please clap for the cheesy ending-
