Alone Again Chapter 10
A window slammed shut as a loud thunder broke out through the skies. Kurama smiled. “What’s up with the sudden change in mood, buddy?” Yuusuke asked. Kurama turned to the hallway, “Welcome back, Hiei,” he said. “Hn.”

Hiei walked over to his fox, stripping himself of the wet cloak, and boots, and settling down next to him, leaning on the couch. “Why so gloom?” Kurama asked. “Rain. Ignore me and continue,” Hiei said and began polishing his katana.

Kurama continued explaining, or attempting to explain the math equations to the two humans, when Kuwabara shouted out, “I DON’T UNDERSTAND IT!!” making Hiei jump at the shrillness of the voice and accidentally jabbing Kurama with the pointed end of the katana.

“Agh!” Kurama winced and held the cut. “Kurama! Are you okay? I’m sorry!” Hiei apologized and lifted Kurama’s hand and shirt to look at the cut. “I’m fine, Hiei. It’s okay. It’s not so deep,” he replied as he inspected the cut.

Hiei stood up and rushed to the bathroom. Yuusuke looked over to the cut, “Jeez, Kurama! It is deep!” he exclaimed, looking at Kurama’s blood-covered hand as he held his wound. Hiei returned with the first-aid kit and cleaned the wound, then covering it with bandages.

“Thank you, Hiei,” he said and gave the koorime a small kiss on the cheek, leaving a small tint of red on the latter’s cheeks. Kurama smiled. “I’m sorry,” he said again. “Don’t worry, Hiei, it’s wasn’t your fault. Blame math!” ((RRK: xD)) “What’s math?”

Night…

Kurama lay on Yuusuke’s bed, the light wind from the open window blowing on his delicate face. Hiei had decided to stay and that meant Yuusuke had to sleep on the couch. Hiei lay by Kurama’s side, slowly brushing his fox’s red hair. This seemed to be a usual routine for him. But Kurama didn’t mind and loved Hiei’s touch on his scalp.

“What’s on your mind, fox?” Hiei asked quietly. “Kaasan…”

“Hm…”

“Do you really think she wants me home? I mean the words and—“

“Enough with the words. I know they hurt you. But what I really think was the emotion that you missed. What was her emotion?”

"Out of my house!"

"But-"

"I said out! Take your leave, now!"

“Fear? Worry? Ashamed?” Hiei recommended.

“Fear,” Kurama whispered, “And anger.”

“Would you know why?”

“Fear, because I am a demon and she gave me life, and she may be afraid of what I’m capable of.”

“Anger?”

“Because I didn’t tell her after years and years.”

“Maybe she’s ashamed of those emotions that she used.”

“Hiei…”

“What?”

“You sound like a counselor,” Kurama smiled. Hiei rolled his eyes. “What are you trying to get at anyway?” the redhead asked. Hiei shrugged, “Trying to make you go back home so we can do something without worrying for the damn detective popping in.” “Oh, ho? What ‘something’ I wonder.” Kurama smirked and went to kiss his precious fire-demon on the lips.

Hiei responded, feeling up and down and all around his redhead’s body, then going to his head, pulling it forward to deepen the luscious kiss that they both enjoyed. Kurama felt in control because of him being on top, and he liked it.

Tempting, Kurama reached for the zipper of Hiei’s pants, but was stopped by the fire-demon’s hand. Hiei broke the kiss, making Kurama frown. He smirked, “Not now fox, wouldn’t want certain humans popping in at the sound of your screams.

“You caught me,” Kurama smiled and continued to have his lips meet Hiei’s once more for another kiss, one that would last.

After the precious moments ticked by, they parted for air. “How’s the wound?” Hiei asked. “Nothing a kiss couldn’t fix,” Kurama giggled. Hiei complied; lifting Kurama’s shirt to lick the fox’s wound. The bandages were removed once Hiei and Kurama applied some ki into the wound to heal it faster. A few more days and the scar left would be but a memory.

Hiei licked the wound, caressing it with his tongue. Kurama tried to keep himself from giggling. He was ticklish in that certain spot, and Hiei knew and continued to torture the redhead with tickling. Kurama gave in, laughing to every lick and suck.

‘If he does this here, I can’t wait for what he does when I go home!’
