My Journal
A bunch of stories I wrote so friends can read them without me wasting ink. Warning: They mostly consist of [attempted] yaoi. All having to do with Yu Yu Hakusho. [HieiXKurama]
Alone Again Chapter 8
Yuusuke stepped inside his house. His mother actually went to work today, leaving him, Kuwabara, Hiei, and Kurama alone in his house for a couple of hours. He removed his shoes and walked into the living room, where he found the others.

Kurama was sitting up on the couch, back in his clothes. Hiei sat next to the redhead, trying to feed Kurama spoonfuls of soup, and Kuwabara sat in the recliner chair across the room reading one of the weekly Jump (1) magazines and chewing on a stick of pocky.

“Back,” Yuusuke said. “Welcome back,” Kurama said from his place on the couch. Yuusuke walked over and sat on the coffee table, in front of Kurama. “How ya feelin’?” “Better than last night,” Kurama replied and Hiei gave him some more soup.

You could see the color slowly coming back to the fox’s pale face. “Guess who I saw on during my walk?” the detective said. “Who?” Kuwabara said. “Shiori.” Kurama looked at him. “What did she say?” Hiei asked, placing the now empty bowl onto the coffee table next to Yuusuke. “She wanted me to tell Kurama that she’s sorry and wants you home,” he said.

Kurama frowned and looked at the floor. “What’s wrong, fox?” Hiei asked, brushing back some hairs so that he could see the fox’s emerald eyes. His eyes widened a bit when he saw tears forming in Kurama’s orbs.

“Kurama…” Hiei sighed “Can you go back now?” Kurama shook his head. “Why?” “If you were there, to hear her yell and scream at me to leave her house, her presence, you wouldn’t want to go back for a bit,” Kurama whispered to his fire-demon. “I already know that you know.” “You know me well.”

“What happened?” Kuwabara asked. “Do you want me to, Kurama?” Yuusuke asked. Kurama nodded slightly and leaned onto Hiei. Yuusuke turned to Kuwabara, “To put a long story short, Kurama told Shiori about his past and she kicked him out; the rest you know.” “Wow, must’ve hurt the heart.” Kurama nodded. He lay on Hiei, he head on the fire-demon’s chest, silently listening to his heartbeat, Hiei brushing his silky soft red hair.

“But I know, that I won’t be returning home for a while. Her yelling and screaming it hurt.” “Don’t worry Kurama, I’m sure Mum would let you stay here for a while,” Yuusuke said and patted his friend on the back. “Thanks.”
