My Journal
A bunch of stories I wrote so friends can read them without me wasting ink. Warning: They mostly consist of [attempted] yaoi. All having to do with Yu Yu Hakusho. [HieiXKurama]
Alone Again Chapter 9
Kurama stood in the bathroom, slowly brushing his hair. Today he was going to school. He and Hiei had managed to sneak into Shiori’s house and take what Kurama needed for school- his bag, uniform, books- and leave without a trace; except for the missing items of course.

There was a knock on the door, “One moment,” Kurama said, placed down his brush and opened the door to meet with lips. He smiled into the kiss and responded to it with passion.

“Jeez, guys, get a room!”

Hiei broke the kiss and glared at Yuusuke who sat in his uniform, the top un-buttoned. “What room?” Hiei mocked, noting that Yuusuke didn’t have an extra room and Kurama slept on either that couch on in Yuusuke’s room. Hiei disapproved of the room with the detective and not him, so Yuusuke slept on the couch sometimes, but it was okay with this.

He’d rather miss out on the demon’s nighttime make-out sessions.

Kurama giggled, “Ignore him, Hiei,” he whispered into the fire-demon’s ear. Hiei smiled and dragged Kurama by the hand into the living room, leaving Yuusuke in the hallway, who shrugged and continued on into the bathroom.

It had been three days since Yuusuke had seen Shiori and Kurama denying to returning home. Kurama was slowly getting better from being sick, which made Hiei half happy. The other half was worried about the wound that Kurama had received.

Not physical wound, but mentally in his heart. The fox still hurt from Shiori’s words, though he kept a happy act up for his friends not to worry, Hiei still saw through his acts.

“Are you sure you’re well enough?” Hiei asked, noting in the past two days, Kurama had to skip school because of his fever jumping up and down. Kurama nodded, “It’s not so bad today, I think it’s almost gone.” Hiei was about to say something, but Kurama cut him off, “Don’t worry. If I feel worse than I am now, I’ll come back here,” he reassured. Hiei nodded.

“Come on, fox boy,” Yuusuke said, “We’re going to meet up with Kuwabara and your school is on the way to ours. So I’ll drag you with us,” he smiled a goofy grin. Kurama leaned to give Hiei a quick kiss, “See you later, Hiei,” he said and walked out the door with Yuusuke.

Hiei left the house through an open window a few moments after that, heading towards Genkai’s temple, deciding to visit his sister for a bit.

Later…

School ticked by slowly. Kurama stared outside the window by his desk, totally dazed out, daydreaming about him and Hiei, thinking about him and his mother… ‘Should I go back? Maybe, but not soon. My heart needs to heal, then I’ll return home,’ he told himself, then continuing onto dream about him and beloved fire-demon kissing under the sunset of a nice spring evening, smiling to himself.

The school bell rang its end-of-the-day chime and students of Mieow High poured from the double-doors of the front building. Kurama walked out after the group of fleeing students left, not wanting to get caught up in a group of fan girls who didn’t know they missed their shot with the redhead.

He smiled when he found his friends standing at the school gate, waiting for him. “Hey Kurama!” Yuusuke and Kuwabara chimed in unison. The fox smiled, “Hello,” and they walked off for Yuusuke’s home.

Once they entered the house, the two delinquents immediately made their way to the kitchen to make a humungous sandwich. Kurama laughed quietly to himself and settled himself on the couch, taking out some papers from his school bag. Crossing his legs onto the couch with him, he began working on his make-up work.

Ten minutes of chatting and fighting over the mayo, Yuusuke and Kuwabara came out of the kitchen, hold up their giant sandwiches like a prize. Kurama ignored them, trying to get his homework over with. “Hey, buddy” Kuwabara chimed, “Mind helping us with our homework?”

Kurama looked up at them, “Help, not completing it,” he replied. Kuwabara and Yuusuke shrugged, placed their food on the coffee table and grabbed their bags. Kurama slid down onto the floor, placing his work on the table and typing in numbers into his calculator.

Yuusuke peeked over to Kurama’s work, “Holy crap, Kurama!” “What?” “They teach this? What is it?” he asked, referring to the math homework. “Yeah, you should stay awake during classes more.” “Find the value of ‘x’ in the equation, solve, and then turn the solution a single number with a… What??” Kuwabara said.

Kurama laughed at the two, “Ignore my work, what’s on yours?” he said and began helping them.
