I try and withstand your harsh tongue, your cold words, and your searring glare, but it's hard. Why I continue eludes me, be it that promise I made to stay by your side, or the foolish love that has fostered. I don't like refering to it as such, but my brain just says it's so... neutral Somedays I just wonder, "Why bother?" Whatever the reason, I seem to remember it and continue to endure.
