EVERYONE has a code, it dictates how we interact will our surroundings and other people. Some codes are more strict than others, some are never ending contrictories. Whether or not our codes make sense to others doesn't matter, only following our own code. By not following our own code, we deny the world of our true selves. My code is full of controdictions, but honor and respect are always key. One rule in question, the one which has sparked this entry, is that about friends... and the pledge I made to one. I care for my friend deeply (more than a "friend" should), but to help this friend, I feel that I can't get so close... I am torn between my heart and common sense. My heart tells me that I will be more able to fulfill my promise if I am closer, but my sneses tell me I am being greedy, that if foul up while being that close... the promise will be instantly broken and I will have failed. It is clear that I must choose a path and have no regrets... but, the heart or the senses, which should I listen to?
