Tale of a black mage
This is just a story that I am making. please make any comments you would like. just keep it clean!
part 2
After arriving back at the school, Brett headed over to the school arena for Brett’s Year book photo. After waiting for ten minutes Brett finally got his photo taken. He then received a card telling him when his class photo would be taken. Brett read the card and noted it would be at 3:00. Brett then left the arena and headed down the path to the stone court yard.
The court yard was also known as The Meeting Place because it was where most students meet. The court yard was made of red bricks like most of the paths in the school. Hedges surrounded the court yard with openings where the path to the dorms and school’s main hall. In the center of the court was a huge redwood tree. Brett walked across the court yard and turned left toward the boy’s dorm. Brett entered the Brick building and headed toward the common room to met some of the guys. Brett walked down the dark blue hall until he came out into a huge room that many guys wasted time.
The room was dark blue like the halls and had white base boards. The room had a big tv with three couches arced around it. The room also had tables and chairs for people to sit and talk or study. There was also a table set up to play Crystal Tactics.
The point of crystal tactics was to create the most crystals or gems for points. Each player had the same amount of charmed crystal fragment. On the players turn they would place a fragment onto a line on the board. When one player made a diamond shape with the shards, the fragment’s merge together to make a crystal of their color. The player would get one point for each crystal they made. If a player made a bigger diamond with already made crystals, they would seize their opponents crystals and make a gem. Gems are worth 3 points and cannot be captured. After a while the board will become full and the player with the most points win. The game would be simple if not for the fact that you only five seconds to make a move.
John and Gary were sitting playing Crystal Tactics as Tucker sat on one of the couches watching a movie called Dark Life. Brett walked up behind the couch and jumped over it for a seat.
“Hey tucker how’s it going?” Brett asked
“Not Bad.” Tucker replied “Gary and John could be better though.”
“Whys that? Did they get into another argument?”
“No . . . not yet. They got turned down by two white mage’s again . . . for the tenth time . . . in a row.”
“Hey, It’s not my fault that John can’t get a pick up line right at . . . ” Gary was cut off by John.
“Look! I think you should charm a lady with words of poetry, no some stupid words that tell her that she reminds you of a heat source!”
“Which of us never had a girl friend?”
“Which of us has no standards!”
Gary and John were very different and argued a lot. Gary was a Dwarf from the Menol mountain region. His skin was lighter than most of his kind and was very tall for a dwarf. The only reason why he looked like a dwarf was his naturally orange color hair and beard. He always wore jeans and a leather jacket unless he was in class. He also always had these orange sunglasses that made him look smart. Most people didn’t know that his eyes were actual brown. He was strong and hansom which he used to get girls. John was a young Elven man who came from the Islands of Sun. He had tanned skin and black hair which he combed every morning before class. His eyes were a mix between blue and green. He liked to wear blue silk pants and jackets as well as eel leather boots. He preferred to use poetry over a pick up lines for him though it was un civilized. No one knew why they hung out together if they disliked each other so much. “Guys take it easy” Brett told them “There are more fish in the sea.”
“This coming from a guy who is too scared to ask a girl out.” Gary muttered.
“Hey Im waiting for the perfect moment!” Brett defensibly replied.
“Looks like this is your chance Brett.” Tucker told Brett. Brett turned around to find Tucker reading his appointment card for his class photo.
“What do you mean Tuck?”
“I mean is your appointment is the same time as Esther’s class.”
“WHAT?!?” Brett shouted and grabbed the card out of tucker’s hands.
“Funny how fate works, hu?”
“Yea, really funny.”
