I watch you as you stand there
With one motion you brush back your hair
Revealing your face to me
A face any angel would envy
I admire you from a distance
Before I make my way across the room
Rehearsing all the lines in my head
lost in your eyes I'll soon forget
The words will soon come back again
The moment you begin to walk away
A deep breath followed by a "sigh"
I thought I'd give it one last try
I said everything I wanted to say
In each and every possible way
And still she chose to walk away
I guess I'll live to love another day
