Confession
Until I met her, I never knew that one could feel
such joy and pain at one time. The ways she lights up
my life even in the darkest of days,
yet leaves me feeling empty and worthless.
I die everytime she looks at me
and sees just a friend.
I would be willing to die a thousand times more
if only she were to ask it of me.
Until the day comes when we can be together,
my eyes, my heart and my soul
shall belong to her alone.
