Thursday
Adam and I stayed up til 5 in the morning, playing GameCube and PS1. As we do. And I swear, we must have fallen asleep minutes before the rose. When we woke, it was noon and the sun was giving us hell. It was out clever idea, too, to leave the window open--no fly screen--all through the night. Or morning. Whatever it was. Adam later told me that he had been bitten several times in various extremities, and then I realised I had been bitten five times--four bites within one inch of each other on my leg, and one uncomfortably close to my crotch. Those mosquitoes have a sick sense of humour.
The rest of the day consisted of going through the motions. Cook food, play AOM, go for a run (3 rounds instead of 4, to compensate for Adam) and finally prepare dinner. Thinking about it now, the day really was very plain and empty. The odd thing is that it has never felt like this before, even though in the past we have done almost exactly the same thing.
I read some of my Mufasa story to Adam. A Mufasa Story (title) was warmly received, even though it was written ages ago. Probably more soulful than what I’ve been pumping out lately though. I miss the days when I was infatuated with my storylines. Continuing the Lion King trend, we posted my Lion King AMV on YouTube under the Film and Animation category. I really didn’t think it was that good, but we would wait and see.
